hi
what is the multitasking like on this phone - can you run multiple java apps at once?
does the phone lock when you close the slider -
i had the w850i and sent texts and called ppl from my phone book when the phone was in my pocket as all the menus were not closed

Can anyone help on how you get more than 100 entries into the calendar. I have tons of appointments that I need to load and synchronise but the phone accepts 100 entries only

you can download mxit into your U700 phone just go to your wap browser and download mxit and save it and you will find it my file> games and more.

Hiya from Australia.. i did have the LG Shine until some moron stole it from my purse :( and was looking at buying the new Samsung U700.. Can i please have some advice from a few people.. Ive had a Samsung handset before and thought it was good but need to double check with this new phone.. LG by the way, is a TOTAL waste of money and time.. My advice to people who want an LG.. DO NOT GET ONE!

this works on my phone, not sure if SA's version is different to that in Aus

Neil Abrahams: it should not be possible for you to hang up on someone with your cheeks whilst talking to them -the keys lock up when you're on a call so that this is avoided. me thinks you're telling porkers.

This is a good cellphone, elegant, delicate, pretty and functional. Moreover, it is light, handy and premium feel. However, the quality of camera isn't at the same par with SonyEricsson K800 (my previous phone)...
Music and ring tone is loud enough to be heard by the neighbour..so who concern this, you should have worried about.

JUst bought it for the features.
Totally unable to use it IMPOSSIBLE TO NAVIGATE . Too sensitive. Jumps everywhere.Forget it!!

Singapore - You can't set MP4 songs as a ring tone or message tone. But you can easily get around that problem by converting a MP4 song into MP3 format by using Samsung PC Studio 3 (the disc that comes with your phone). Just right-click on the song and you will see "Convert..." among the functions on the panel.
If the title/album/genre/artist's name of your song is in a language that's not English, you might want to go to the Properties section of the song (right-click) to check that the Title, Album, Genre and Artist names are correct before transferring the song over to your phone.

Hi all. I got this phone a day after my birthday. Last week Thursday. Lovely present must say. I have lost the mic yesterday. I can hear others but they cannot hear me. I will be taking it back tomorrow. I want the same phone but I have another problem. When I answer the phone my cheek touches the call cancel button and the call gets disconnected. Tell me has anyone else experienced this or are my cheeks in the way.

I just got this phone. Best fashion phone out, by far.
I just got rid of my LG Shine, and this phone is much better.
There are better phones out, feature wise, but this phone looks like SEX.

ok so ive had this fone since 25th aug an i dont know how to turn all keytones off but just have a tone for when i slide my fone up and down, i could do it on my pink e900!!
also ne 1 tel me why i have 4 songs an 8 pic's an now it wont let me take ne more? do i need a memory card? how much an whats the best 1? thanx
