Hi there, I applied for two contracts with the Samsung U700, and it was released recently in South Africa, but seeing that it is the cheapest phone with HSDPA and 3.2mpix camera, they should have known that the demand for the phone would be great, but yet I am waiting a week and a half for delivery of the phones. And there is no stock........ Features wise no other phone come close for the money you pay for it, as for the connection of HSDPA or 3g, it is seldom the cellphone's fault, because of th erg network being so unreliable

Hi guys, i just need some feed back on the u 700.. like wat is good about it? Bad? The Battery? I am currently using a Nokia N95 but think the U700 looks better..... so yeah wat are the good bad and just ok points about it????????

For Samsung Lover: we can try to go for u600 it supports the touch button and FM radio with white and black GUI however it does not have 3G. Its out at Php13,000 with 1 yr warranty.

I recently puchased the U700. So far i am very happy with the phone. It's very well built (no rattles as reported by some) and looks wise it's very sexy.
My main annoyance is the touch buttons and how the phone goes into lock mode when you starting dialing someone. Means you can not use the Cancel button to hang up a call. Anyone know a way around this?

I currently have the Samsung d820. I love this phone, but the price is too high here in the Philippines, costs Php 20,000.00 which may be equal to about USD 408. Sigh. too high for a student like me. Haha. my mom won't finance this if I want to buy. Does anyone know when will the price drop? I want to experience mavigating the phone with a touch sensitive scroller.
i am also waiting for a samsung phone, non - bar, but not slide, not flip. The one you see when you go in http://anycall.co.kr .
Those phones are sliding or swivelling (its hard to explain), but not in a vertical way. It's in horizontal way. LG has already released those phones, but I am a samsung lover, of course. That's why I am waiting and waiting for that style of samsung phone. ^_^

how does the battery life,of this phone, compare to the modern sony erricsson pones eg w850i, in real life tests.
When i replaced my v3i with my w850i the battery was so much better. Will this phones battery be worse thean by w850i?

I love this phone and i definatly want one for myself it looks nice and elegant just right for me when i have enough money im going to spoil myself with a SamsungU700

just got the u700 in yesterday from Phonesourceusa.... very pleased with the looks but havent really put into use....which leads me to my question...
where can i find a clear crystal case for it in the US???? it seems to be available only in the UK (online), and so far the only seeminlgy reliable online store does not ship intl =(
how come its so hard to find? still too new? i see the u600 case being sold everywhere but will it fit on the u700?

Has anyone tried using this phone or know if this phone will work in Japan??? I know its HSPDA and all, but one of my reasons for getting it is using in the US and Japan.

Just got the phone, but when I try and send a picture message or use the internet it says 'Sending failed - service unavailable' or 'Service unavailable' Do I have to register with Vodafone first?

"For all those who are thinking of getting this phone then i suggest you look at other options, that is of course if you like fragile delicate phones that feel like they're about to break every time you slide it open. Who every said samsung had a reputation for quality assurance was highly misled themselves. The slide feels shakey, it rattles, it feels like a babies toy. We pay good money for these phones and i think we deserve the quality that we are assured. It sounds like im not the only one disappointed in the products resiliance either so the quicker samsung recognises this as a credible fault the quicker they can address it and keep their customers happy. Ive had a samsung before the build quality was fine. It seems as though samsung are spending more time on advancing their UI and neglecting build quality which they were once renouned for. Its not rocket science, just make the damn things work as they should. Shame on you Samsung."

HI guys im hope somebody can assist me , is the screen of the u7t00 very visible i only saw a, dummy and is the font also ajustable i hope to get some input, its this model or the e65 to choose between and its quite difficult, main use business and taking pics which the u 700 have a better camera tx martin

My Subscriber is CellC, must I choose the Smartdata or Internet.GPRS setting with the Browser options. I have lots and lots of
irritations trying to log on to the internet.
Is it the phone, subscriber or my settings folt?

Never mind my previous post. I further read that you can receive calls with the slide closed. Just need to do further reading. :)
