can this Samsung u700 ring and vibrate simultaneously? or like the typical samsung setting, vibrate then ring? How's the mp3 player? while playing, can we minimise it and do other stuffs?

this is not the final design. It's getting way cooler. Much slicker then the U600.

I have a reliable source saying that Optus will be getting this Samsung U700 probably in July/August as Optus is undertaking tests on this model at the moment.

I am from the UK and just went in the Vodafone shop at Liverpool Street Station in London, and they have it on the shelf. They put it out this morning aparently. Now all I need to do is wait for T-Mobile to get it in. If they ever do!
It was the silvery / gold one they had on show not the blue one. Not sure if they stock the blue one. Can't decide what looks nicer!

My god it's uglier than a really ugly person. What's the point in making a phone that's exactly the same as it's predecessor and make it even uglier

I think it has been redesigned guys the pic on the left looks old but if you click on it it shows u a new look of the same phone

The only differance I can see between the "new" pics posted on the shortcut below of the U700 and the original pictured here is the colour, fair enough I cant understand the writing but the pics look the same, or is it me missing the point?? Been waiting for this phone for about 3 months now, hope it's going to be worth it!

everyone here knows that the u700 model has been redesigned at some point right? it no longer looks like the picture to the right of this page, but instead like the photos posted on http://mobilarena.hu/cikkek/2007-06-21/samsung_u700_hetszazat/oldal_2.html and subsequent pages.
from what ive gathered, i understand that the redesign of the phone changed its appearance and added FM radio. anyone want to confirm/comment?

Why there is a constant delay in the UK is beyond me...i heard something about build quality problems
