Just got my phone free upgrade from Vodafone..real bling bling..shiney chrome. what can i say about it..amazing great camera qulity pics..real soft touch buttons. The list is endless a must have phone.

As expected the Vodafone date has been put back and this time no date has been suggested. I work in one of their call centres and was in work this morning and got the bad news. Unfortunately I can't upgrade my staff account through the stores so I have to wait till it comes out on the stock list! I'm thinking of going with the new motorola when it comes in next month.

Just spoke with T Mobile and the sales person said they are definitely releasing the U700 but do not have a date. He did expect it to be out before the end of July, however. Just to affirm, it's already out on 'general release' with Vodafone.

I'd also like to know if it's going to be released on T-Mobile. Their sales team don't seem to know themselves!! If there's any T-Mobile people reading this please let me know if I'm wasting my time waiting for a phone you're not going to stock!!!

Got mine on Saturday 25/06/07 from a Vodaphone shop free on contract upgrade. Lovely phone in silver, lots of bling. Had waited for ages for it to come out, well worth it.

yes..optus will be getting this phone. And it will also be available $0 on 49 cap plans. Had a play with one tonight. Wonderful phone.

My sister saw this in London at a vodafone store. Their selling it for 300 pounds locked to the vodafone network.

Another month is not really that long.
I did see it on ebay for $400 AU ? so its pretty cheap.. the other guys are selling it for 620 so im not sure what's the deal

I'd buy this off eBay (because it won't be released in AUS for ages) but the only thing holding me back is that apparently this phone hasn't passed quality testing. I.e. It's got sub-standard quality on the paint-work for Australian conditions.

Yea - gsmarena has the wrong pics. Only one of them is accurate and you have to see the 'more pics' part to see it.

The people on here who are saying they already have it in UK, where from?
I thought Vodafone were the only network realeasing this phone (at present) and its not available with them until Friday 29th June?

Just spoke with Vodafone asking why the phone is in their shops but not on the website.... They said the phone gets released in the shops first, and will be out on 'general release' on the website on the 30th of this month.
Still waiting for T-Mobile. If anyone knows when or even IF they are releasing this phone please post here otherwise I'll have to look at getting another phone!!
