heyy for the people who r lucky enough to have the samsung u700 can you please tell me if u can take pictures with the front camera as in self potrait and is the image quality betta dan u600 ?

The Vodafone software is nasty. Does anyone know where to get the firmware or download some decent themes?

i live in canada, and my local network supports gsm 850 and 1900. i see that u700 only supports 900/1800/1900. so does that mean i will get a not as good signal?
however, i also read that u700 supports eGSM 850/900/1800/1900/HSDPA... so what does that mean? so is the u700 getting the 850 network or not? i am very confused... can someone help me out here?

this phone is ONLY available on vodafone, no other network is having it, and it is not on pay as you go - just contract. this phone is out the window for me then

Thats because it has the vodafone software in it. its absoluley pathetic. The original samsung firware/should be fine.
I sent my vodafone Samsung u700 back and purchased the original Samsung u700, I'll let you know how it goes once i receive it later this week.

hi .just bought the new samsung u700 on pay as you talk on vodaphone for 250 quid. its going back tomorrow at 9am.i have samsung u600 and thought i would splash out on new u700.the software is rubbish.graphics not as good as u600,no music mp3 message tone facility and limited wallpapers.word of warning buy samsung u600 ,its great and has more features too. also no radio on u700.design is great and silver colour,but is let down by software inside .the software is equal to e900.......
