Hello
I hav just purchased u700 but but when my slider is closed and if any call is comes it only vibrates and i have set my profile option to melody and vibrate.plz help me how can set both vibration and melody when my slider is closed .

well i am also using U700 although the silver chrome is vanished but there is no problem in the set and the features are also good specialy the result of camera is very good.

I Use this mobile from last 1 year and it goes in warranty for 3 times.
1. Flexible Cable Damaged.
2. Silver Chrome Vanished and look ugly.
3. Sometimes Vibrator does`nt Work.
4. Sometimes voice not recieved when pick up the call then Speaker On and ten OFF to fix it.
5. Camera Not Detected Error.
So Please i have the bad experience of this type of mobile. No one can select these type of Samsung models. Please Save the Money.

u700 for 1 year, 1 drop caused it not to power. since in knu sum repairs, i saw that the flex cable was damaged. im still having doubts buying replacements for the flex. to bad the 2nd hand fones are just a bucks away from the parts... sayang, ganda p nmn.

Pathatic, Third class phone ever. My U700 has been repaired so far 3 times. Its flex cable is so sensitive and delicated. As u moveup the slide flex cable also moves that time. Sending too much messages can damage its flex cable again and again because of the up,down of Slide... So never buy this phone. Try not to buy Slideable mobiles. Always buy friendly and simple mobiles instead, i have wasted lot of money on this. ITs chrome on both sides has also vanished totally.

aron paul-philippine, 09 Apr 2009i had my u700 last december..after 3 months its been repair... moreyou can never ever trust manufacturers to repair your phone that you bought from them. might as well try to do it yourself. like mine for instance, i have the same problem but since Nokia 7650, the problem with slide up phones is the flex cable. I gambled to purchase the part from ebay since greenhils tends to overprice everything. 14 days passed, got the item, installed it and it works perfectly fine. So if you have a slide up phone try to treat it with extra care when sliding it up or down. The flex cable is so delicate, paper is much tougher!

i've had this phone for almost 2 years now and have already taken it for repairs twice. i have 2 take it for repairs again.the silver is coming off again and it will switch off& on in the middle of a pone call. can anyone tell me how to activate the video calling on this phone. i tried doing it but i couldnt. i'm due for an upgrade but i still LOVE my phone.

this model of phone is so disappointing.. i had spent much money because of repairs.. i had spent 5,000 for repairs only.., gosh!! i shud hav not brought this phone to repair.., i shud hav bought new phone!! better and with high quality that never break easily..

aiyayayayai........if it werent for the picture quality this phone has, i wuld have graded it a 1 star out of 5, its as if the phone is addicted to repairs....... i had it sm time back n all i can say is that the repair shop has spent more time than i have my phone it the worst product samsung has ever come up with this is a total nightmare.......DONT, NEVER......NEVER ever think of geting this phone,,its awaste of money!!!!

i had my u700 last december..after 3 months its been repair by samsuns mobile here. it repairs almost a month.the lcd is black. but touchscreen is still working.its a bad cellphone i ever had. so much ..im very dissapointed.i will rank it as two star over five.
