This would have to be the worst phone ever, i have had previous samsung phone & no problems.
1/ After finishing a call slide the phone closed but it doesn't end the call.
2/ So sensitive with the touch keys when you put it to your face it cuts off the call or it slips through the menu past what u want plus many more problems.
Very disappointed after calling Samsung told there was no problems with the model they didn't want to know about it neither did the service provider that sold the phone.
It is the last time i will by a samsung product.

the speaker is too soft so u cant here the phone ring, eventually you cannot speak as normal u must put the caller on speaker phone. look greats but that's where it ends, siler trim comes off, and the phone goes into menu's when u not even using the phone.battery power does not last long, real disapointment from samsung and i'm such a fan of their products

the fone is great, the Data connections are so fast
but
i cant connect the phone to be used as a modem while connecting to 3G, it doesnt work even with GPRS nor Bluetooth
the problem is after the phone is connected to pc studio i add a new connection
asking for phone no. i enter *99# or *99**1*1# nothing works
the phone shows that the computer is using the internet and then stops
but the E sign or 3g sign is not doing anything
i tried everything, i am using pc studio 3.1.2
the connection is working 100% on the phone
i reflashed the phone, same crap
on the computer it stops at "registering your computer on the network."
what should i do next?
who will solve my problem too?! lol

i have downloaded the software(Samsung PC studio) but i amnot able to download my photos. What a bad phone.

Good looks, that's where it stops.
1. The silver comes off after a while of use
2. Not user friendly
3. I lost so mush info due to stupid menu keys
4. It was worth breaking it in two!

How come all of you people have these problems with ya phones?ive had the u 700 for a year now and nothing is wrong with it.everything still works fine.it even fell out my pocket when on a bike.And for that it only started peeling.sent it in got it back in a week and no problems ever since. whats wrong with you others guys countrys and these phones lol -_-

Could some one tell me what is the connectivity internet speed of this phone ? in the specification it support 3G but I never get more than 300 kb/s , did any one get I mg or more ?

i hate this phone i hate it i hate it i hate it the phone just freezers all the time and the screen is always giving me problems im so glad that this phone is disscontinued it will save every one the hassle of wasting money no doubt the look is great but the phone itself is pathetic

all samsungs are good considering how crap nokia is these days... i just dont like the touch sensor feature as my ear some how puts people im talking to on hold; the battery life isnt too flash and nor is the loud speaker... other wise huge fan of the samungs esp the old D600 =)

I had this phone for about 3 months, now when i slide up my phone, the phone does not response to t=any button i pressed on, i have to wait for at least a minute then only i can get into the menu or sms. Though memory space indicates that it could store for 500 sms, but when my phone reach 200 or more, my phone will hang once i try to send a sms, so i have to delete all my sms. Furthermore, samsung phone local retailer, although 1GB M2 memory card is included, but it does not seems to be a quality that has a long duration, for it because the memory card included given to me just give way after months, now i have to incurred another expense to get a Sony M2 memory card.
In terms of colours, resolutions, camera, they were all execellent, creative wallpaper (living world) which will be put on accroding yo your country landmark buildings.
Sound will be a little soft(low), even i switched to max volume, yet its volume barely can be heard, especially when i'm ar outdoor, in contrast, I have been S.Erricson phone before this, its volume is loud, i just put the volume to 6, but it can be heard, though not loud, but at least i able to know that my phone is ringing.

I've had my phone for over a year now and was totally satisfied with my phone until my phone stopped charging. i was told that the charger trackers are damaged. this has happened twice in a space of three months and i can't understand how this is not covered by the guarantee. is anybody else experiencing this. pls let me know thanks

I thought that I bought a reliable phone but had multiple probs with my U700. First of all the usual peeling, secondly the scratches on the face and then, the phone decided not to switch on at all. Fortunately it (was) is still under warranty and I took it back to our service centre. I got the phone back after four weeks with a new face (front cover) and the switching off fixed. But after two weeks it started to frozen out (blank screen) and only when someone called the phone will come into life and then my theme would be displayed from right to left (mirror effect). Again I took it back to the service centre for repairs which will again leave me with another four weeks without a phone. Since my warranty will expire end November 2008 I thought it wise to take it back to the service centre and I will personally asked for another phone, probably a Nokia to replace it. The message: Don't buy the U700 even for it looks, it has software problems!
