I hasve the first batch of u700 here in australia. and on the whole it is a great phone to use full of features and samsung build quality. Top Notch in all respects!
the one failtue i had was with the reflective finish which scratched and peeled quite quickly, was replaced under warrentee.

been having this for 6months.then it started to acting up.i'm not satisfy with it.futhermore it's skin start to peel and i have trouble looking at the screen during outdoors.one of the worst phone..the mechanism is slick tho'

Anonymous, 24 Jun 2008how about changing your network settings...you might be usi... moreUS has no 3g network. I had the phone for 3 months and it was working perfectly fine for the first 2.
it just started acting up a month ago. no settings changed. just stopped working one day.

You have to press the centre button twice or 3 times while closed to unlock it within a time span of 3 seconds. Highly unlikely that it will unlock by itself. GREAT PHONE!!!

has anyone found out how to fix the problem with not being able to call/receive calls? i'd get full reception and EDGE working fine, but can only connect 15% of the time. the odd thing is that if i do connect, i'd never get dropped/disconnected.
i've tried manually selecting the network, rebooting the phone, changing batteries, etc. nothing seems to work... and as far as i know, everyone else that has this problem is in the US right?
anyone have a fix to this????
