My touch sensitive screen also does not work its gone for repairs once again!! and dont let me start on the way it sheds its "mirror finish". It really is a sad dissopointment.
If I see someone about to purhase this phone guess what I am gonna tell them?

Same thing happened to mine, the middle centre button doesnt work either but my touch is working...any way to fix that middle button issue??

Just had something very strange happen! I turned on my phone this morning and none of the touch sensitive buttons worked and neither did the centre wheel or button! The number keypad still works but i cannot do anything without the touch sensitive buttons or centre wheel! Any ideas?

i am not impressed with this phone. it is everything but stylish. the top coat on the phone is peeling. i have enquired about this and nobody wants or can assist me. samsumg was a trusted brand according to myself. how could this have been the phone of the year.
please can i have feedback

I have a really big problem. When I save a number without putting in the country code, it will recognize the number. if I do put the country code and its still the same number it wont recognize the number anymore and claim its a new number and give it to me as unknown and gives me then normal number without the code infront of it. This is a big problem because i need the country codes infront of my numbers since my sim works outside of my country. Does anybody know what I could do, or at least what the problem may be?

i realy hate it the touch pad sucks, it has not been a 3 months and its peeling and the ok butten is broken!!! the only cool thing is that it is 3G!!!

Hi, does anyone know how to save WMA file as ringtone ? or only MP3 file ? i tried but WMA file does not appear in the option side. pls advise. THX

for NaD}:
there is an option for group in phonebook menu. go into phonebook then press right on the jog disc to get you into the groups tab. you can add members to the existing pre-set groups or you can create a new group. you have an option to add just a certain people or add all of those who are in your phonebook. problem is, in sending messages you are only allowed to have a maximum of 10 recipients...which makes the "all" function in group useless. ;)

ive been using this phone for only 5 months and i have a big problem..Sometime the phone doesn't receive incoming call and cant make outgoing calls even if the phone got a full signal. Can someone tell me how to solve this problem...

HI can anyone help me with my U700. Every time i take pictures with the camera, The pictures appear to be rotated when saved into phone or to memory card. How do i prevent that from happening. i want my pictures appearing in portrait mode and not in landscape mode

I have bought my u700 today. It really is a stunning handset to the eye. However.... I am already having problems. I CANNOT set an mp3 track as ring tone. All forums I've checked simply say 'options' then 'set as' but 'set as doesn't come up as an option!! I am also disappointed that it doesn't have the usual samsung standby screen of local city which was gimmick that attracted me to the phone. I am a nokia user and fan for many years, however decided to take the plunge and try a new make. For a realatively new model and the price I paid I expected more and easier use. Unless I can resolve these problems very soon sadly it'll be going back to the shop.

I bought two of these phones and now I hate it!! The only thing i like about this phone is that I will be able to make video calls but it hasn't even been a year and the phone is peeling!!! Does anyone know how i can get this fixed? If i can take it somewhere at least...my calls get disconnected alot because the fact that it is a touch screen and its too sensitive when my ear touches the screen...i shouldve stick with other phones...

I would like to ask if where can I find the option for group messaging. Or is theres an option or menu for that where I could send 1 message or topic for all of my numbers saved in my phonebook.
I just got my Samsung u700 today. Im kinda scared cos it seems like a glass that once you accidentally fall it into floor, it will definitely be broken into pieces.

Simply the WORST phone I ever encountered...why?Where should I start?After 3 weeks the scroll wheel lost its function....the visibility in the sunlight....forget about it..the peeling of the case...the baterry life is a joke,,,if U R lucky U can get 48 hours...and just a few days ago...not even one year after my purchase ,,,it's completly dead....Sum up...Samsung U 700(at least) sucks!!!!!!!!!!!
