I had the Silver U700 for about a month and the metallic finish started peeling off, but i changed it to a Black one and i've had it for about a month now?...the metallic finish not coming off, i've got a fabric case to cover it

I got this 1 week back. its very nice. But the battery is getting down within 24 hrs. How could i solve this problem? also company is giving standby time 270hrs.

hi people,
ive been reading the comments that alot of people have been putting down, i to have the u700 i like the phone, now the thing is i would like to know what you do to the phone for it to peel??? ive had this phone for 6 months now and it hasnt peeled yet and yes it dose send text messages when the slide is down cause you can unlock the phone by pushing on the centre botton (try it out)so try not to wear tight pants!!! the one thing i dont like about the phone you cant change the message alert tone but you still can use the phone :)

I got one of this 1 week ago. I like the phone , its quite nice but the battery utterly sux , its holding for 24h in standby i don't know where did they come up with the 240h in standby.

i think you had you PUK blocked. go to a nearest wireless center of you provider or a cellphone repair shop and have your PUK unblocked.

hi please i need help!
i just bought this phone 2 days ago, and today i tried putting a security lock on the phone, and it wouldnt work i kept trying and then all of a sudden it closed and rejected my sim card!!!!!!! what do i do now..... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Touch screen hardly ever works and will ring people while in my bag... even though it was locked when I put it in there. DONT BUY IT!!!!! I had the D500 and D900 and loved both, but this has put me off Samsungs for a while"
the most reasonable reason why you get calls even if the slider is down was that some thing(s) inside your bag was hitting the scrollwheel button several times so the phone becomes unlock. BUT, still it should not call. WHY? the touch sensitive call button WILL NOT BE ACTIVATED by any means except by a person's touch. try hitting the touch sensitive buttons with any material and it will not respond. WHY? because the touch sensitive buttons responds ONLY to the electricity generated from touch/skin of a person, the same principle used in iphones and other touch sensitive buttons of other phones like SE K850.

there's one in zedge forum, i just forgot the direct link for that particular message. it has to do with using qualcomm usb driver and another 3rd party program. i haven't tried it though 'coz i play mobile games on my k600.

Thnx for who posted a website that I could download themes and softwares for that fantastic phone
But I think I missed it.. Did someone mention how to install these programs on the phone without bluetooth and all what i got it the USB cable??

You can't set mp3 music as a message tone, like all the other Samsung cell phones.
