I currently have a u600. Its a great phone. I'm thinkin of gettin another phone so Just wanted to know if gettin a u700 was worth it.

Hi
I just bought this phone yesturday!!! And its AWESOME!!! Its great has sooo many features, and the design is even better.
Its camera 5 stars! and its music is very clear!!!!
althoughi do have to mention it does leave annoying fingerprints all over the screen, but thats nothing we cant take care of!
GO SAMSUNG!!!

i know you can go to my alert tone but that only allows you to access their inbuilt ringtones not ones you have downloaded yourself. your own downloads wont show up when u go thru my alert tones.someone please email me on how to get this to work

i can use any for my msg alert tone ..
i changed it like how i would change my ringtone ..
theres two options
effect tone
or my alert tone
go to "my alert tone" then look thru either the phone or ur memory card..
that should work :) THOUGH .. i have a u708 ..

can anyone tell me how to install new message alerts from my computer to the phone i can intall them to the phone but when i go to change the sms alert i cant get to them

i spent only 795 and it covered all from front to back heheheh, it was done at gateway
gmask is not that prone to fingerprints :)

i got this phone bout 2 weeks ago really really love it and i found the clear cover is not as bad as i thought it would be, served alot of customers with this phone and all have the same views, only a little dissapointed bout mp3 message tones not available but other then that its WONDERFUL!

I also had that peeling problem with my U700. So I had it g-masked. It cost P795 and an additional P250 for the transparent cover on the screen. Hmmn.. I dont regret it even though its expensive(thats for now) hehehe. Dont know if it will really last 5-7 years as they were claiming it to be. Hope it does!

the resolution is rily noticeable for me..
hey leroy, tnx 4 the response..
but 1 more thing, is it possible for an application to make its resolution bigger??
coz its unfair 4 a 3megapixel phone to hav a lower resolution than 2 megapixel once!!
my u600 has a 352 X 288 resolution twice the size of my moms u700..
its so ironic..

does anyone know how to change the message alert tone? my phone only seems to have one msg tone and it's annoying!

I have had my u700 for 1 month and the only problem i have is that the battery needs charging evry +-3 days.i do not use my phone that extensively.could it be a dud battery. comments please.by the way,this is my 3rd Samsung mobile in 6 years.

well my chrome layer start peeling off from the sides and edges just two weeks from purchace date can i know if this is manufacturing defects; could i get a replacement if so and is there any transparent hard cover for this model(u700)

when you connect the phone with computer via usb, try to run the pc studio. if it is not detected, remove the usb and re-0insert it after 5 secs (that's while running the pc studio). the look again if the phone is now connected :)

Hi, I've just got this phone and I have a few questions about connecting it to the computer.
I've installed the usb drivers and the pc studio and they were installed correctly. But when go to plug in my phone via the usb cable, my computer CANNOT detect the phone. The phone did not show up on My Computer and the pc studio couldn't detect it.
Though the device manager did detect it and said that my device was working properly. I need help! What can I do to solve this problem??? Thanks...
