hi, well i am thinking about buying this phone but some of the reviwes arnt very good. Can you only get it from Vodaphone because i have herd that Vodaphone arnt that could! Please help me and could you tell me how much they are in the shops aswell :D

I am using the addict network and I can't seem to get a dual mode signal, 3g and GSm... Help

Can somebody help me with getting dual mode signal? It seems that for my texting and calling function to work I need to switch the network mode to gsm 900/1800 but if I want to get a 3g signal, I have to switch to UMTS. Is this phone capable of dual mode?

You can play 3gp and mp4 format videos w/ this fon. Just convert it to 176x144 pixel resolution. Its the highest resolution it can support.

u can adjust it to maximum memory..
it is on the cam recorder settings!!
here in the phil it doesnt package wit any games either..
any way, please ans..
does urs can play 3gp and mpeg4 fomat sent via bluetoooth?? coz mine cant..
and 1 thing, what format does the video make??

Hi! This h/p video can be set to about one hour as I was being told. Go to the counter and they will be able to set which mine just done on 1st Jan 08. Mind you it not simple.
Next, on the against Samsung which you guy get the fact wrong. For me just stating my
point, I love those maker. They make our life comfortable isn't it.

I’ve just bought U700 two wks ago in Singapore. I would give it a rating of 8.5 out of 10. It’s cool in its looks and functions, though a radio feature would make it even better. As with many other users, have to take a while to master over the touch-sensitive soft keys.
(a) One thing which I would like to check with users from other countries is that : the units sold in Singapore do not come with embedded games (unlike those in U600, D510, X640 and even N620). May I confirm if this is the same case for all in other countries?
(b) If I download games via Samsung Fun Club during the initial free 1-month, are the games trial versions or we can permanently have them?
(c) Also, why are the video recordings limited to 10sec blocks only?”

Do you guys actually know about Samsung Company.? Everyone knows Nokia is Mobile phone company. however samsung is different with that.! Samsung making lots of others as well. and over 50% of their products they have No.1 Technology in the world. such as Micro chip (D-RAM) and LCD also they do supply Mobile phone CPU to HTC and etc. company. Do you guys know ? that over 30% of Apple Iphone's inside parts are from Samsung.! Moreover, why would samsung copy FAT.-! Bulky Design from Nokia.? Samsung's Design Concept being Slim Factor and it is differnt with Nokia Design Concept.! and for the future 4G(WiBro) technology was Developed from Samsung and all the mobile phone in the future need to use samsung 4G(WiBro) chip. from all of these Samsung being totally Different company as Nokia who just making out side of phone.(inside of phone parts are fully supplied by third party)!

I just got mine U700 b4 I read about the users opinion. It not user friendly beside the too sensitive...sh___ button.The ring tone is also soft, can't really get it when you are out of the house. The designer should be more customer orientated.

One of the cons of this phone, is that you CAN'T assign MP3 files as your message alert tone.. An absolute TURN-OFF!!

please help?!! what video formats is u700 capable of??
i cant play a 3gp and videos from a u600 on it.. i transfer the file from my pc to its memory card..
in my u600 it can play!
but when u make videos on u700 the file is 3gp format!!
what the!! is it normal 4 u700??
or i got a defec phone!!
please help on this matter anyone there...

No msg tone can not be changed in mp3, only mmf or preinstalled melodies...

Been using this for a few months. This phone is chio and yes, you can set MP3 as message tone. Just go to the MP3 file and set as. Camera is also good. However, the sensitive touch pad bugs the hell out of me. Always pressing the call or cancel buttons by accident. Messaging function is also not user-friendly. Inbox holds v little messages, compared to other phones - only 200 or so. Have to do phone-keeping often. Ringing volume is soft... the loudest volume with vibration comes with an echo that appears too much for the phone to handle in the long run. Also no hook to hang accessories. And where are the games? Recommended only if you seldom use sms and are a delicate user.
