my phone is korean made but i cant find a document viewer/editor in applications, is this the right place to look for document viewer or is there some other problem?
i also did not get any games but live theme is present.

I am thinking of buying this phone, but i guess the one that we have in India is U800 E and not B, and therefore it differs in its features, expect only the looks are same. can somebody help. i mean irrespective of the fact that its different from U800 E, is it still worth buying, when compared with Samsung L700

CHRISTOPHER, 03 Dec 2008I bought this phone a few days ago and most functions have ... moreThis SOLUTION applies to ANY smart and/or semi-smart phone from ANY manufacturer. I'm using Windows XP SP-2 PC. Perhaps neither rich nor trendy enough to use MAC.
Preparation : Disconnect PC from LAN and all modems and routers -- IMPORTANT. Make sure the antivirus and antispyware programs are absolutely uptodate and capable of running on-access scans. Disable your firewall and raw socket blocking protocols and applications. Check for auto start-ups. Then fresh install [or repair] Microsoft Outlook [or Mozilla Thunderbird]. Install the drivers and client management softwares of both the phones. Reboot.
Execution : Transfer all the contacts from phone-ONE to the PC by sync and/or Outlook. Make multiple back ups. And then transfer all contacts from PC to phone-TWO. Use strictly wired transfer, i.e, no infra red and definitely no bluetooth.
P.S : Not only the easiest but also the safest process this one is. And don't forget to post a "job nicely done" response after successful accomplishment of this circus.

I bought this phone a few days ago and most functions have worked well except for the problem with transfering my contacts to the phone from my IPAC HP PDA.
I am doing the transfer using Bluetooth. The names of the contacts and notes about them are transferred with no prblem but the phone numbers don't.
Does anyone know how I may go around my problem?
Sumsung in South Africa promised to call me back with an answer and they have not got back to me after days.

the phone is really good. but the mail client sucks. i set my yahoo pop mail, but U800 is downloading the new mail only, without deleting the old ones... strange. any help?

hi all,, thought i wud share some of my experiance with the u800. battery life - getting almost 2.5 days wit an hr to 45-60 mins of calling with 1/2 hr of music. Camera is faboulous and after xferring the pics to the pc there were no blurred images. sound with ear plug type headphones is compareable to SE w200. browser seems to be a tad slower. themes creator is a new feature ive never seen in any other fone,memory if just gr8 with 1 gb onboard along with kingston 2 gb,, 3 gigs of memory, video playback and recording is cool enough for any teenager, looks awesome, 16 m colours looks really bright, key pad not for blackberry addicts but sturdy, games are a drawback - all trial versions, honest rating - 8.9/10. hope this helps buyers. recommended for- corporate, 25-40, wanting a multimedia phone for less, but good workmanship.

hi ,,i got the u800 2 weeks ago. i am still enjoying the experiance. had the e840 earlier, can someone enlighten if the u800 e is actually missing the living wallpaper or am i not looking in the right places.any answers? thankx!

U800 B is not the model available in the Indian Market.But the similar phone is available, called U800E which lacks some features, like Secondary video call camera.

when u call someone or vice-versa press the left soft key.....from the options you can select record.
don't know about the video conversation recording coz my phone does'nt have a secondary camera.

SAMSUNG is cheating the Indian buyers. This U800E is noway near good enough as the phone advertised. This is a SCAM. U800 Soul-B should be renamed as U800 Scam-B. Period. I've switched to SE K770i.

Just bought this fone a couple of days ago from trading in my HTC touch. Verdict?
Pros - Perfect screen colours, alarms + organizer very friendly user, great/loud sound incoming/outgoing calls, fits perfectly in pants/jeans, camera's good enough and battery life's great! great price!
Cons - not for people who loves sending text or SMS coz the keypad kinda difficult to press, menu lagging? not really, also so-so as camcorder, not for large hands coz ez to fall off. any enquiry on this fone lemme knoe! boyz
