On the icon line I see some icons as described in the user manual. I also see a "1." Anybody able to tell me what the "1." stands for?

gab, 12 Jan 2009ive just ordered ths phone in pink cant wait-my step daught... moreThere is an option under slide settings to make the phone automatically lock when you slide it closed to put in your pocket or phone case. You can also disable it too if you want. The magic touch pad shouldn't go off when it's in your pocket, it only activates when your fingers touch it, and not by any other objects I can think of.

aust, 12 Jan 2009why sms is save in memory card? got setting or got any wa... moreThe first 30 SMS you send are automatically saved to your SIM card, from 31-500 sent SMS its stored on your phone. There is no way to configure it to save your SMS to your memory card. Like I said, SMS 1-30 gets saved to SIM card, 31-500 is on phone.

ive just ordered ths phone in pink cant wait-my step daughter has one like the feel of it just hope i dont press all the buttons on the magic screen
is there anyoe you can lock the phone so it doesnt automatically press anythign?

i have had this phone for over 4 months and all i can say about it is its a really good phone its clear when you talk to people and ti takes really good pictures i recommend everyone to buy this phone

Sam, 11 Jan 2009There is a box that comes up when you click send to on sms.... moreIt isn't the top 3 people you text, it's the last 3 people you sent a text to. There is no way to take that off, but what's wrong with it? I find it really helpful and easy to choose a number to text if I'm texting between 3 or more people. It's just a standard thing on this phone that can't be disabled.

There is a box that comes up when you click send to on sms. This has your top 3 people you text. Does anyone know how to take this box away?

thanks for the info about the phone. i just bought the phone few days ago. all i can say it's a superb and stylish phone,accept the battery life. it can't seem to hold more than a day. i just charge it the whole night last night,and i use it today. up until the afternoon,the battery only left 2 bar. and another few hours,left only 1. i use it for text and camera only. and i didn't take pic too much. is it any of the special effect of the touch pad that drained the battery so fast? any tips to improve this?

It is the first tab where you switch from Camera to Camcorder, in the middle you can see the option Scene. Select Scene and open the top panel again and go to the right 1 time, from there you can choose your different modes.

Or if you update your phone to another firmware, it may have another theme on there to go with the phone, but you CAN NOT install new themes into the phone. Than I realized it was from simply placing it on a glass table, or any other table. It gets scratched easily. That day on, I made sure I only set my phone down on a very soft material like paper or on my mouse pad. I than bought a Full Body Protector from eBay for $19.99 USD and it covers every part of the phone that is vulnerable to getting scratched except the front touch navigation pad part (boo). I can now set my phone down without worrying it getting scratched. I recommend it if you can buy it from eBay

Repeat that about 5 6 7 or even 8 times until the phone recognizes that you use that word much more than that number you accidentally typed in for it's place. Now when you type that word in, the word will come up instead of the number

The reason you can't take photos from the front camera is because it's meant for only video conference calls on their 3G network, but the US doesn't support the 2100 so therefore you can't even use the video conference feature on our phone. As for the sports and nightmode, I could have swore I saw those options on my phone the other day, and now I can't find it again. I'll get back to you if I do find it again though.
