Hi I love this phone, but does anyone know how to delay the answer phone kicking in by time i have found phone it on answer phone, would be most grateful i have tried looking .

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2008In basic Nokia 6300 You get blue diode which flashes every ... moreshort cut menu (touch) can be fully customized so theres no need to change the switch menu. music player took me 10 secs to find fist time i used it as multimedia is written under the video camera icon. and again music player is pre set on the short cut menu anyway

samsung are offering a software upgrade for the low volume problem. this volume issue appears to be only a few phones as my friend has the soul and the volume is perfect.

qman, 08 Jun 2008basically all phones need to be activated to check missed c... moreIn basic Nokia 6300 You get blue diode which flashes every 5 seconds since you have missed message or call, and screen doesn't go black but displays count of missed events. You cannot customize shortcuts in shortcuts menu (not on touch pad)which is activated by button over 3 key. and i meant music player in main menu. hope some new themes will be available soon with new icons.

It's great in shape, weight, ... morebasically all phones need to be activated to check missed calls/messages...at least the Soul has a reminder once message/missed call are recieved.. music player is simple to find, its actually pre-set on the short cut menu and last of all the short cuts can be customized, the phone offers 28 different options to choose from

clare, 07 Jun 2008Samsung U900 has really low ringtone volume you can hardly ... moreobviously a LG owner, ring volume is perfectly fine.(in-call 90% of the time is perfect) once adjusted as loud as any other phone ive owned previously. people who report low ring volume are a minority and one cannot help think they havent worked out the phones settings before commenting.

Hi I'm wondering if there is any way to reassign soft keys? I have only managed to reassign the 4 shortcuts on the touchscreen but not for the soft keys. Thanks.

Just a query... after i close my samung soul (the slider back in)... the wallpaper will turn on periodically like every min... what is wrong with it and how do I turn it off permanently?

is everyone blind,
all of the cons missie stated are true but
are easily changed at the menu!!!
oh and the sound is loud not reli loud but loud enuf!!!

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970tough question.. all are nice phones, the LG secret and the soul are very similar tho..personally id go the soul and its a bit cheaper too. i think the secret is the female version of the soul so u might like the design of the LG more. only real difference is souls got better image/picture quality, secret has better video quality. souls got a slightly better audio player too so if ya listen mp3s on ya ph take that into consideration...thats pretty much it.

Hav this phone for week now.
It's great in shape, weight, looks and feel.
Thre are however some issues:
-you have to activate phone to see missed call or message
-there is no any setting for key lock. phone lock itself when you close it and when screen goes off. this is really annoying, especially when listening to music. you have to unlock it every 15 seconds
-when the headphones are plugged in, flap covering the socket is hanging loose, can be very easily broken. and looks stupid. also volume key is directly over that socket, and its really hard to press it when plug is in.
-delivery reports are coming as separate messages and are stored in inbox folder.
-the back of open flap looks like it's been made from old oil barrel.
-and you can't find the music player, because its icon picture is...camera
-i wish it also had possibility to put some picture into touch screen and maybe some customizable shortcuts menu.
Apart from that it's really great.
I'm used to nokias whose functionality is great, but now they making china-quality phones with design of sardine can (n95 for instance) with plastic from melted Action Man.

Well had my U900 for a couple of days now and i honestly cant find a negative with it yet.
Battery cover was off in seconds and has been on and off a few times since with ease.
I was expecting the volume to be an issue, but to be honest i havent had any problems with it!
Its a gorgeous looking phone, the features on it are good and creating your own theme in expert whiles away many an hour at work lol
If anyone can point me in the direction of how to alter the sensitivity on the touch panel..id be extremely grateful..as i cant find where to do it .
All in all its an excellent phone and im very pleased with mine.

Is there ... moreyeah i'm wondering the same thing. why the hell is the caller id photo so tiny? whats the point of having the caller id photo when its that tiny... when i had the samsung d600 the caller id photo pretty much fit the whole screen.
