Anonymous, 30 May 2008No 2nd camera for video call, not a quadband. What a waste!There is, in fact, a secondary camera for video call at the front top left hand corner.
Before you post comment like this it would be wise to check the specs first.

Claire, 29 May 2008hey im really confused..does anyone know how to turn the GP... moreto turn both GPRS and UMTS off simply change your phone profile to "offline".
To turn just one of them off see the following posted earlier:
To turn off 3g (UMTS) go to Settings -> Network settings -> Network mode -> select anything other than UMTS....
OR (try this at your own RISK):
key in *#6984125*# (as if you wanna make a call), you'll come to "Admin setting".
go to "Network & call settings" -> Network order -> GSM first

last 6 phones all been samsung and have been samsung fan for several years untill the appalling U900, Replaced U900 twice and call quality is still awfull !! . Yesterday bought new LG KF750 Secret what an amazing phone. Forget the U900 and go for this one

na, 29 May 2008hi can antone help love the phone but lve got one clock in ... morethe "dark line" with date and time is the default clock so cannot be removed. It'll be there if you're not using the system theme's wallpaper.
To make the matter "worst" you can add another "dark line" with date and time of another timezone. Just go applications -> World clock -> add a timezone -> highlight the other time zone -> options -> display settings -> Change the "single" to "dual" by pressing left or right. And there you go :)

Anonymous, 29 May 2008Hi everyone, i've just bought the u900 soul on the 27th of ... moreThe low volume (during conversation) is a known issue. My personal experience is that it happens during certain conversations only. Say if i speak with A the volume is soft (when i'm outdoor with max vol), but for B max volume seems rather loud given the same condition.
Not sure if this is a bug, think many have made this known to Samsung. Hopefully this will be dealt with in the firmware update.
(i read somewhere that you can tamper with the volume settings... but at your own risk of damaging your Soul or ear :p)
personally this is something that i can live with... Just use headset when outdoor :)

Hi everyone, i've just bought the u900 soul on the 27th of may and don't understand why the volume is so low! i took it back to tmobile today. The guy took another u900 soul out and tested that and it was exactly the same! im not sure what to do now, any ideas?

I have actually had 3 of these phones sent through from t-mobile now, all of which have been very quiet and crackley when you are trying to speak to someone/hear them at the other end of the call, does anyone else have this problem?

plz how to setup application on this phone?by saying "set up application" i supposed you mean installing java application.
By default the only way (that i know of) is to download the application from internet right into your phone by using the default phone browser.
From my limited knowledge there is no way of installing .jar applications by copying the file into your mobile as the file extension is not recognised by U900.
However there is a way to get around it, see url below (do it at your own RISK):
