Got mine yesterday .. and it's really nice. very fast processor, and the storage is abundant.
some minor cons (coming from my previous phone: G1): - no LED indicator light, which is handy.
lots of preloaded programs that you cannot uninstall (and they're trial versions). I am still missing the track ball that was on the G1, and many other current phones. it will take me some time to get used to this.
other than this, the phone is great, and I love it!

Igo, 09 Sep 2010Will this work on AT&T if i buy it unlocked?The phone will be able to make phone calls and connect to Wi-Fi, but the 3G frequencies are not compatible with AT&T.

fadz, 11 Sep 2010yes, it does work on at&t 2g only. No 3g.Correction.. Once unlocked it will work on the AT&T 3G aswell.. the Samsung Vibrant has the AT&T 3G band.. look it up on the XDA forums..

I juz got the vibrant, how can I sync my contacts to google contact? I copy those contact from my sim, n I already have google account setup... It only sync some email I have in google contact, but doesn't sync any number from fone to air...
Please help!!!

Every 2-3 months you need to hard reset the phone and rebuild/reload your data. I guess Samsung is supplying the same hardware to AT&T, T-Mobile and for i9000. GSMARENA specs say that vibrant has a Samsung Hummingbird processor whereas Captivate and the i9000 have an ARM processor. May be this is what causes the vibrant to die down in half the time its brothers do. As per GSMARENA captivate will last for 13 hrs and 30 mins on a 2G call whereas vibrant would last a mere 6 hrs and 30 mins for the same !@#$@!@#@!@!????
