This phone has gr8 audio quality also, especially the headset audio effects.
This phone is surely a gr8 multimedia phone

I receive my upgrade, the H1, last week. Some nice features:
3.5mm jack.
Vivid 3.5 inch AMOLED screen.
It can play almost every movie I throw onto it without conversion.
It is probably the loudest speaker phone. I still have Nokia 6233. But this beauty is even louder, though only mono, bass is not as rich as 6233.

Hi Luis,
This phone has been programmed for Vodafone use and if you are using another network this may be the reason why you are experiencing problems. If you are not with Vodafone, I would contact Samsung and ask if there is any way around this problem. And unfortunately as there are hardly any LiMo phones out there, apps only seem to come from Vodafone for the time being.
And as explained, unlimited internet is £5 here in the UK. Some Vodafone plans have the internet free intergrated with the call plan.

Hi Luis,
I understand you cannot use the Apps or Maps with the 360 switched off. From your video, your 360 service is switched off (the red dot symbol next your network bar shows this, when its on its green). In order for both to work, the 360 must be on. You have to register the 360 service on yout phone and activate it online for all this to work. Try going into Settings, the Application settings, then 360 and activating it from there. Then go online to http://login.vodafone360.com/en/web/home/index and complete the registration.
I used my maps yesterday and it worked brilliantly. Im sure it will be the same for you after you do this.
Also I advise you visit the Vodafone forums so Vodafone admin staff can help you as well. http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/index.php?
I hope this helps my friend.

there´s a video explaining..
first , im with vodafone 360 off, like you can see in the left corner on the top of the screen (red thing)
then, i just connect to my local wi-fi and then , try to access the app store... translated means "only phone mode. log in session to open aplication... then i try the maps, it says the same thing...
then i open the internet browser and open some webpage just to show that the wireless internet is working... finally , i try to open the app shop again, same message

you didnt get it
let me explain: there is NO way to use the maps or the app store without logging in the vodafone 360. the phone just denies it. i conect to a wi-fi network and the only thing i can use is the internet browser...

Luis.
Firstly, the 360 service is always activated until you wanna switch it off. It causes no effect to using the phone as you would with any other touchscreen phone. So therefore the Maps will work normally.
The majority of Apps you can download are free from the Vodafone 360 site. They only cost you money if you access on demand services such as football score textx etc....As the operating system, LiMo, is new you can only get the Apps from the 360 site for now but they are growing in numbers.
Finally, the light on the bottom of the phone is an additional feature where it lights up if you get a text or phone call.

WHAT THE F***
you cant use maps or the app store without turning on the 360 service? even if i´m connected to some wifi network , it denies me the access to them so you have to spend money on web to access the apps?
what a fail... im not spending my money in internet sucky packages

Today mine started to run really slowly and the battery is making the phone get really hot, so hot that it was burning my leg in my pocket, i switched it off and left it open to cool then reconnected it and it was hot again within minutes - I turned it off for a few hours and now its ok, but i'll keep you posted!

took a gamble getting this, was ok for first week with some quirly features such as the business car scanner and the bottom lights up when you have a message, but it has a long way to go to compete with the likes of the iphone. the software is patchy at best and sometime freezes. good idea and concept, just got to wait for the next versions before they have anyting good and competitive.
