Hey VB...any news on the datacable front!!!
Also this problem of not being able to receive ringtones by sms only les with the x100 and x600. The c100 can receive the ringtones by sms!!!

MR.UTTAM u cannot recieve mono ringtones,are u from STONE AGE,the speciality of SAMSUNG X100 is its sexy polyphonic ringtones and the 65,000 colour graphics.Make use of them and leave the mono & Black & White World behind.

i recently bought sgh-x100 it is very good phone but i cant recieve mono ringtones and pictures from ordinary phones(through SMS)

hi . I purchased SAMSUNG x-100 MODEL on 1st june. i dont find the games mensioned in your manula. the games I dont find are Go!Hamster, Bowling ,please clearify my problem,

the cable is pcb133lbe, i doubt the usb cable would work. the original cable is a 15-pin serial cable. only 3rd party manufacturer makes the usb model.

The x100 cable is now available on www.baazee.com again. But I am a little skepticle for the seller as the seller is a new one and has no rating at all.
Anybody who's bought the cable from there?
Also it is not mentioned that whether the cable is USB or not.

Dear all , I'mfacing the same problem with my X100 , i've tried a genuine Samsung serial cable with model PCB093LBE and it did not work , my x100 blinks with a tone and it start to recharge. I have serched through the Internet and found the cable which is suitable for X100 and which is Samsung PCB-133 Data cable For Samsung SGH-E700, SGH-E100, SGH-S500, SGH-X100, SGH-X600.
but its a little bit costy , around 34.39 € as u can find it in NOMATICA.com

We can also use the USB cable 17.00 € , u can find it in GSM-Technology.com website. please if you know anything new to solve our problems with X100 , just inform me

I want to use the opportunity to tell you that your product is nice.But the problem we have now in Nigeria,is the case of Samsung X100.So pleasa,I will be very glad if the case will be out in the market.

damn the software... u cant use ur own tones as group call ringtones... u must use the default ringtones found in the firmware... wat the heck do they think they r?

They will be releasing it within June.

Tell me friends, why is it that x100 doesn't support any recorded sound as a ringtone. Other mobiles don't support it because the speaker can't play it. But it is not the case with x100. I don't think much software change would have been required to give option of 'Voices' with the 'My Sounds' folder when setting Ringtones..

Hey CACTUS,first of all let the data cable for X100 release in India.Theres no use without it! I have got all my Software ready,for the past 1month,but no use,the data cable isn't available.

u guys should use Easy Studio 1.0 software for pc-mobile link, download from www.codeal.com. go to products-terminals-manual. u can d/l free.

I have no idea how to connect my X100 to my PC. I got a genuine Samsung serial cable connected to my serial com1 port, but if I connect it to the X100, the PC start to pause/hang ! Do I have to install any propriate software/driver ?
