After a long I found data cable that successfully works with my Samsung X100. The cable is connect on my pc's com (port)1 and do a good job. But i'm not felling very good because the mobile set can't support greater than a file 32kb. But it has huge memory.

any one tell me how to set voice recrding time lomger than 1 minite.my x100 does not supporting opera mini.it does not access network when opera loads...any one help

x100 is a good phone.it have l lot of additional features and plenty of draw backs.the phone hangs on its operation.
its a common problem.dont buy these phones.second hand phone makes high complints.but it have a huge memory.when the phone is out of coverage never hangs.it hangs only in specific networks(airtel)in india.any doubt about this phone contact vlm.anoop@yahoo.com.samsung phone regularly creates network problems.contact me to free tones through mms.msg me9895722462.battery is good.sms managing is a tough job.

Gives a very good display.but swithches off
suddenly but rarely happens.booting is a bit slow.

If your X100 Phone hangs too often while making and receiving calls i.e. while interacting the network the use this code *#8999*377# to access the inbuilt error stack. if the top most error code is 0X13041700 then it's definately a battery problem. Try this code #*4700#. It deactivates the half rate codec. I didn't notice any change except that my mobile stopped hanging.

this phone is amazing. i have had it for two years and have dropped it numerous times down the stairs or while biking, and incredibly its still functional. one of the sturdiest phones i have ever seen and great for someone as clumsy as me. phone is easy to use.

This phone is totaly crap. Fine friend in the begining, but after some period it becomes a worst enemy. Problems: it shuts down with no reason when you need it, and it can't be turned on for a few minutes (it reboots itself few times until it become active).
There are also similar problems with several Samsung models. Never buy a Samsung phone.

I am also facing the restarting/hanging problem with my X100 . Its a cute phone and user friendly, bt its just one year and its of no use now, i tried flashing with the latest software but no use, as i found many of users are having the same problem, it might be true the phone' software might be purposefully created with this bug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this hand set is looking good .. but nothing its there....no camara,no infra red,no blue tooth....dubha mobile

Realy superb phone ! I think that it's the one of the best phones in the world:) A lots of time i was throw my phone against a wall and floor too but it still work very well. Just try to break Samsung X100 , it's impossible :)

i think it is a brilliant phone and is very user friendly ,as i am a teenager i like downloading stuff and i find it as one of the best phones around and i have had no problems at all.

I have the exact same problem with my X100 too. It worked without any problem for almost 2 years. Now It gets hung as soon as a call comes or sometimes when I make a call.
This seems to be a known problem as some of my friends too have the same issue.
I dont know if I am right but looks like the phone software is made to behave like this (Crash after 2 years!!!).
My Recommendation would be that:
Never buy any samsung phone

i experience all the excact mentioned problem with my set.i wonder if this problem is peculiar to all samsung phone or just the x100.I am scare of going for samsung phones now.

Dear readers,
I am facing problem in my X100A: it hangs and stops responding while I try to make a phone call. I have to disconnect the battery and start over again. But generaly it hangs again after the samsung start animation. repeat for 4/5 times and then it starts normaly. This problem does not occur if i navigate menu or sms.
Please send me any suggestion ( refresh code, hard reset code: anything ) in my mail.

Hey everybody...I have been using x100 for more than a year...I have the exact problem as you do...it hangs it self...the keys become inactive when I try to pick up a call the keys become inactive and it shuts itself...I used to love this phone but now...it lays on a shelter...

ive been using this phone for almost 2 yers! ihad no problem 1 not even once1 very good phone! its mai drawback are the lack of a camera and of an mp3 player! however if you are not a multimedia fan and you you use your phone mostly for talking and writing sms, i warlmly recommend you x100! its a flawless phone..even though when i bought it in 2004 it was very expensive, about200 euros!

I have been using x100 for the past 2 years without any problem untill about 2 months ago when it started to hang.The phone hangs every now and then when picking call or when making calls from the phone.When this happens,it does not respond to any key including the Off key but subsequently switches itself off.It goes on like that again and again.

I have been using Samsung x100 for the last 2 years,no problem ;but now for last 1 month it is hanging,can someone help by droping the solution in my mail box ,baring hanging, its agood set & overall performance is satisfactory
