even though 40-poly the midi file ringtone maximum size is only 32KB, files larger than that cannot be accepted......though the screen is 128x128 the max size of wallpaper is only 128x90 u cant have full screen wallpaper on this phone.....the screen is fine but it dont have a speakerphone??

hey people!!!!!!! dont ever buy this... this is the crappiest phone ever!! and i had a time using this, and i wouldnt risk money on buying such a crap phone once in life time again.. why i say this is that, it shuts down itself, the gprs disconnects itself, and when i receieve and make calls, its gets stuck and never responds no matter what button you press except the off button... and this doesnt even support some mmf and midi format polyphonic tones... and this, really SUCKS!!!!

As much as I luv the fone.The main drawback is about hanging.Whenever I turn it on it will then shut itself down.Pls is there any solution to this problem.

This phone does support mono ringtone(imelody).u can send imelody thru ems. just that it dont have a ringtone composer, but i think monoringtone can be download. of course not in nokia ringtone format i suppose
what is stupid in the sms attach melody section there are some v nice tones there suitable for sms alert but u cant use them for the sms tone at all!

I can receive Picture from other phones through MMS. Also have Downloaded around 30 ring tones through USB.
Advantage:
# Battery life
# Poly ring tones
# Alarm settings
Disadvantage:

I am having Samsung x100, i purchased it last year. from that time till now i am having a problem that is, i cannot recive any picture message and any ring tones which are send by my friends, but i can download pictures and ringtones from GPRS. Plz give me some solution regarding this.And is there any solution to expand my memory card.

Hi guys, I have been using this cell phone for about three months. It was fine in the starting months but now there is a problem. Whenever I keep it on table or bed, a message comes. "Insert Sim" I have checked the problem by changing sim but the same message appears. Also the SMS tones are very low. Sometimes the software also hangs out.

I've been having this phone for almost a year. Never had any problems with messaging or else. Using data cable and new firmaware i've expanded phone memory from 9MB to 15MB(max) and Java memory to 8MB, MMF size to 512KB (1MB is also possible but then MMS function is disabled), made ringing sounds sound much louder (originaly the volume is way too low), sound quality is still very good and the back phonespeaker is still alive :)
Pressing the "i" button gives rotation menu which originaly is not there. Using data cable you can upload java games and soft even with TotalCommander provided you have SGH plugin.

no REMYA, u r getting this problem, when your friends send you "PICTURE MESSAGES" from their "NOKIA" phones. This model is not compatible with NOKIA PICTURE MESSAGES (or Operator logos). Thats' why you get this error message. this is not a problem.
