This is a Fabulous phone, no comparisons at all, jus been a day and i am totally satisfied with its feature , but i jus have one ques, they say 40 polyphonic ringtones but when i checked it was jus 10 preloaded one's. Does this mean i need to download the remainin 30 and if yes then HOW. Plz do reply.

why don'tu check your ip address, gprs access point name user name means your mobile no.and your home page add ie,always www.google.com.if its activited then please tell me.

can anyone tell me how i can set its gprs and wap settings. i downloaded the settings from my service provider. the manual says that when gprs is activated a G is displayed on the screen but no G is displayed on my screen. on the other hand the wap doesn't work

This is very nice model in samsung. but the ringtone composer or transfer of ringtones should also be there. and instead of giving infrared data transfer it is better to give memory card or bluetooth facilities. then the model will be there in the market for a long time.

I bought my phone about a week ago. Been tweekin with it trying to figure out how to use the irda. Nothing happens. Size of the phone is nice but I can't get any ringtones or any type of upgrades. So overall I'm not very pleased. After this i'll probably go back to Sony Ericcson

I bought the samsung x200 in the Netherlands for 18 euro. I am very happy with this phone. Buy one! ;)

Just got the phone for 1 day and I'm finished with its user manual + explored the whole thing, so on & fort.
Good side of this phone: Easy to use.Simple & Acceptable Design.Unique features for a low budget phone and functionality wise is alright too which is easy to access due to its standard icon menu layout, yet very smooth indeed. Phonebook space able to store up to 1000 list! And the weight is darn light! :)
Down side of this phone: A little hassle when wanted to browse/find a person to call thru the phonebook. Unlike other brand which we can just press,scroll down/up & browse instantly thru the navigator key. It dont have Stop Watch :(. The font size is abit too huge.Low self-memory.And lastly, the dealer adviced me to be extra careful coz it has a very sensetive screen which may be damage easily from great impact such as drop down too often accidently and its repairing cost is way much more expensive compare to other brand.
Anyway, this phone is for ppl who dont expect much but a unique clamshell phone for daily use to make & receive calls, SMS, MMS and also storing up a massive amount of their frens & families / client contacts ;)

Its so great! Just had it for a day and can't let it go, probably because its my first MMS phone,just wondering how i can retrieve MMS messages. My telecommunication site is Smart (Phillipines) and I tried to download but I cant retrive it!
The properties indicate that the service is unavailable, whats the meaning of that, someone, please help me

It's nice, but I can't connect the phone to my PC.I tried using an IrDA adaptor but nothing happens, I also tried using a data cable form a different samsung mobile, but windows doesn't recognise the phone and I have no drivers for that.If any of you guys know how to transfer images and sounds to this mobile ?? please help me ! 10x
