i bought the handset yesterday, anybody can say how to switch off the alaram. that option is not enabled in my handset.
alaram is also not functioning please tell me if any one knows

This is a good and simple phone.I'll buy it soon.
But can we use amr files for a call signal or midi & mmf only?

i bought this model for almost 2 months and wasnt giving any problem until few days ago when i've trouble calling out,receving calls and sms.whenever i dial a number,it stated "Call Ended" immediately.I've check there's nothing wrong with the service provider and my Sim card does work in other phones.I've to switch off and on again to call out or sms.The phone settings are default as it came when i bought.Does anyone have this problem? Pls reply ASAP..thank u

for such a cheap fone ($199AUD) it is extremely good, ive had it for about 1/2 a year now and if ur not worried about all the fancy functions and just need a fone 2 perform 2 task - calling and msging- it is the best. the keys are beautifully spaced apart, with a simply yet intuitive menu system. there is no problem at all during calls as the volume is loud and clear whilst u can still msg at the same time as u call. simply a great fone that serves it purpose well. battery life is pretti good too

just got this phone the other day.. its realli good! the screen is like a mirror without the back light. the games are bad tho. service light onli flashes 3 colours..

The phone IS USB ready. Cable is sold seperately, don't fool potential buyers! Cable's approximately for 10 bucks. Really nice , solid, stylish who searches for a non-camera phone. It's funny that in download section of the Samsung website offers 4 free application to be used with your x480. How should i use the apps? Sure, with a USB data cable.
You can synchronize images, melodies between your PC and phone. That means you can upload your pics&ringtones from computer to x480. You can even send & recieve SMS and other stuff while phone's connected.

The phone is okay, I'd just bought one. The information on this site is not accurate. The phone did not have USB and the phone book capacity is 2000 and not 1000.

YEAH!a great mobile i have ever used ,easy to go with and download ,as it needs some skills to use it,like alarm, and setting rings for ur friends,but it s sharming ,what do u think!?

One of the coolest phone i have used in quite a while. I used to have a 6600 now the x480 is just 1/4 its size... feels like having nothing in my hand!!!

I have one. It´s amazing. Here in Brazil, it is a success of sale. I love its features. It´s light and small. The sounds of keyboard and rings are beautiful. I recommend it for those who are smart.

I own this phone for a few months.What I don't like are:the alarm, even if it's set for ringing between Mon-Fri, it's ringing also Sat and Sun(not so nice);the pictures taken with other camera (MMS) are very low quality;polifonic melodies are also very quiet;you cannot know if you missed one alarm or not, nothing is diplayed;you cannot choose a melody for a particular number, only if it's saved into phone's memory;you cannot have a picture(only a drawing) attached to every number from phonebook. Typically a blond phone :)

it's a beautiful pfone..is small..but is very stupid.....why the tones i put in sound very pour and low on volume????this pfone is more for women..
