it's a very nice phone for woman and specialy for old people. with a very suitable price. the menu is very simple. but the big probleme is infra red. it's make you crazy at first. it cant send any thing exept the phone number. and you cant transfer your photo to your computer and the only way to transfer your photo is MMS, and for this you have to pay money.

The X510 has an integrated IR-port but you can use it only for loading and downloading entries in your phonebook.

Samsung PC Studio II PIMS & File Manager works perfectly provided you manually type in "9600" inside the File>Setup>Speed box. For some reason 9600 is not included in the drop down selection but that's the only speed that works 100% of the time with the X510. Start>Control Panel>Wireless Link>
Hardware>Properties>IRDA settings, set the speed to 9600 then reboot. You can now download Photos (which are quite clear by the way!) and do all the backups you need. PC Studio can be downloaded from the Samsung website for free.
