I've had this phone for about 3 months now and I'm still really happy with it. The infrared connection works fine with my computer, I haven't tried linking it to another infrared phone but I'm sure it'll work out. So if you are bored with the wallpapers or something, you can always upload something else to the phone. It's a bit annoying that the dictionary-function always turns on when you start a new text-message, definately something I had to get used to and still have a bit of a fight with. The camera is fine, you should'n't compare it to your average digital camera, but I think it's very decent in case you don't want to use it professionally or to take extremely beautiful pics. The max resolution is 640x480 so that's alright.
This was the perfect phone for me, not too expensive, but still very very decent! :D

I bought this phone 25 March 2007 and discovered my service provider don't support it and then i found that i can't even get a data cable for my pc to connect.
I cant even surve the net right?
Im in South-Africa

please, could anybody tell me how to deactivat the GPRS-function. Also how to takeaway the GPRS-connection from the soft-button. i dont want to use it and i get crazy about that. thank you for helping

Somebody please tell me how does the infrared works?? It's seriously driving me up the wall. I can't receive any pictures through infrared and the worst part is I can't send my pictures to someone through infrared. Infrared capability? What's the point of it if you can't send and receive pictures through infrared to other phones or to a pc? Someone please look into this matter very seriously. TQ

i have bought this master piece just today. this is a gem and worth every penny spend.what samsung has packed in this phone is i believe is waht the true maning of 'worth" shouldbe.Quality ,style and features that too at an increadible price,its really great joy to have this phone.samsung has indeed rewarded thaeir customers by offering this phone at so low price without compromising not at all in quality and styling. i recomand this as a must buy for those who prefer to play safe.

how does these infrared work?
and about text display, i think it will be better if we can have a dislay option for time, date or logo one at a time, because i only want time on my wallpaper screen and i enable it, it display both logo, time and date at the same time.
