I had tried to share video files from K750 and L7 but my X700 is unable to open the files why please tell me

    thank you, i bought samsung x 700.

    you are right,with all, i don t like the keys but.... the price was more important in this moment for me.

    in memory of phone i don t find ring tones , no one!!!!! no usual ring tones, no usual signals.

    i bought it for cosmote-romania.

    i am satisfied, the price -performances.

    regarding vga , please tell me why old phones used vga, that you say is the best , and new phone qvga or cif?

    i bought for my doughter banq siemens e 71, very very very very nice design, very strong sound, good fm, big screen, good light,it supports 2gb,recording 84min on own memory, but very very very poor camera.
    because is qcif maybe, no?

    in past i had sagem myx 6-2, and i considered a good phone, good camera for 1,3mp, good video.good baterry, absolutelly full screen etc

    at that phone i could establish dimension of picture, for mms, for email etc.

    x700 has this posibilities?

    also at sagem there are many alarm-tones for sms, mms, etc

    x700 has not? only one?

    exist soft to large photos or video until full screen for x 700 ?

        To RG,

        I totally disagree with ur opinion.Who told u that samsung X700 does not play mp4 well???it plays it really well.Hey man!!!..u r telling that dual speakers does not make any difference...for ur kind knowledge nokia 6233 also has dual speakers.

        X700 also supports 1GB memory card.man!!!u r only tring the find the downside of samsung X700 which is abt 70 euro leass than 6233.

            BOGO: 1.X 700 has many polyphonic ringtones in the list. also you can download and set mp3 songs as ringtone. also you can assign a seperate tone for each person.
            (I'm not sure abt the current prices)
            2.My advice is to get a new phone with bill and warranty preferably from an authorised outlet.
            3.Answer to this question was the main content of my 2 previous posts for you. I, repeat, x700 can only record CONTINOUSLY upto the 35MB phone memory. It can't record directly to card. You may have to transfer all mp3 ringtones&wallpaper photos to card to free the 35MB, again after transferring video to card, transfer ringtones etc. back to phone, for them to work !! this really sucks!
            4.VGA, QVGA & QCIF indicate the resolution or size of video. 6233 is VGA(640x480), QVGA is 320x240, but X 700 video is again smaller.it is QCIF(176X144). for comparing these sizes, take a paper, draw a rectangle 6.4cm long and 4.8cm wide. Inside it, draw another rectangle 1.8cm long and 1.4cm wide. These are the difference in sizes when you see videos recorded in 6233(large rectangle) and x700(inside rectangle)in a computer screen! Now if you think you can zoom the video to large size in computer, it becomes unclear and you can see nothing but pixels!!
            X700 just contains all the basic features like camera and mp3, without great performance but with a FAIR PRICE-thats all! Take your needs into consideration before taking a decesion.

                i checked and i found only one ringtone (one melody) is it possible, is it true?

                i can buy x700 with 85eur (new ) or 6233 with 170eur (also , new)
                2. what deal is good?

                3. with x700 can i record video all memory card (1gb) non stop ?

                in my opinion a manphone , very nice, is lg ke 770 shine (i like bar phone)

                4.because i see that you are very smart in mobiles, and very fair play in opinions , what camera system is better : qcif or qvga ?

                  BOGO: X700 has a good battery performance and also has pc-usb charging. Camera is only 1.3, still I can say its the best among all 1.3s, when it comes to photos. But video recording poor and no full screen play back. It doesn't play mp4 videos well. AUDIO QUALITY (music) VERY POOR. You might have seen in ads, the dual speakers- they can do nothing to improve audio quality. You can't change the audio quality-no equaliser. volume also low compared to other brands. No customization of sms tones-you'll be stuck with the inbuilt ones! The design is good. The keypad ergonomics is poor.
                  But, if you can go for the 6233, then don't hesitate. Bcoz it is a higher class phone than x700(price is also high) with 2MP cam, EDGE class10(236kpbs),3G(384kpbs-but no second camera) better display 240x320 resln(x700 only 176x240) EXCELLENT AUDIO QUALITY AND SOUND, and afterall easily supports 2GB mem card.
                  x700 has 35 MB phone memory which at first seems to be good. But you must keep the ringtones, caller id tones, wall papers, callerid photos, alarmtones etc in the PHONE MEMORY itself - they won't work if you keep them in card!! so a good part of phone memory is used for this purpose. Then it can't record videos directly to card. With the remaining memory how long can you record continuously? they say 1hr recording-but how? 6233 has got only less than 10MB phone memory-but it has not these drawbacks-so it is enough.
                  I've used both nokia and samsung. As I understand samsung phones are more consistent and less problamatic. nokias have more useful features but are more likely to get errors. Anyway I think guys should go for 6233 as it contains more useful stuff. x 700 is beautiful-and thats all.

                    Is it that, when you opens pc studio, a window appears with 'NEXT' button inactive and elapsed time goes on 1..2..3..4...??
                    If this is the case, I recommend you to try this procedure once more, even though you've tried it once:
                    Close pc studio.(Don't remove usb cable)Insert pc studio cd. Install drivers. (not pc studio)select repair option.exit the set up window. (don't remove the cd).
                    NOW WITH THE CD IN THE DRIVE AND PHONE CONNECTED TO PC, RESTART THE PC. on start up pc will recognize the plugged in 'samsung mobile usb modem' and if everything goes right 'your hard ware is now ready to use...' message appears. then open pc studio without disconnecting the phone.
                    Also you must have genuine samsung usb cable. Others may not work properly. Try it once more. If this fails, Usman may be able to help you.

                      Tried with mentioned procedure i.e. connecting phone to PC thr' USB n then installed drivers again n then restarted phone. But still problem is there. Unable to connect to PC thr' USB. Any solution?

                          which converter should i use to convert mpeg to mp4 vidoe for my samsung x700? i tried IMTOO mp4 video converter but converter mp4 files are unable to play on my phone.

                              BOGO, 'NO' to both questions. Samsung recommends 512mb and 1GB Sandisk is the maximum you can try. No direct recording to mem card. Only upto 35Mb phone memory

                                SANDY ; Try this also. Connect phone and pc using usb insert software cd and install drivers again WITHOUT DISCONNECTING PHONE FROM PC. Then RESTART and see whether it connects.

                                  Hi Usman,
                                  Thanks for info. I tried with Modem option but still it does not work. When I select Modem option, PC is able to detect the same n immidiately following message comes on PC (tray icon): "A problem occured during hardware installation, it might not work properly."
                                  Pl suggest.

                                      usmaan bhai i reset my mobile and did setting again,gprs,mms,gmail,email client all 4 settings,now
                                      1.when i try to send email through email client it shows sending mail(jo pehle nahi hota tha)and after that suddenly mobile gets restart
                                      2.i wanna ask that if i send mms to some one and if his mobile is off,so mms should go on server ,right? so what i did is i closed my mobile,and send mms to my self(mobile close kar ke)(from diffrent number )but it not goes,do it means my mms inactive?

                                        Hello Usman, please tell me one thing can Internet tv be played on mobiles?? If yes then tell me which kind of mobiles support internet tv . . . Nokia 6233 (Series 40 ), Nokia n6680 (Series 60) or Samsung x700 or some otherone?? Thanx in advance!!
