To desidude:
At this low price range (9200 pak rupees), Samsung X700 is the leader.... No other mobile can match these features.... But there is LG KG300 (10,400 pak rupees)with some good features like flight mode, FM recording (scheduled rec), Minimize mp3 player/FM, Card support upto 1GB, 60MB inbuilt memory, call recording, big screen (240x320 pixels), 2MP camera with video recording , bluetooth, usb, video caller ID, but it has NO EDGE, Not good security features as compared to X700.... No answering machine....
I have some doubt about it's user interface speed, java games installation, sound quality, bluetooth connectivity range,connection as modem, battery backup time....
Also it is not as good looking as X700.....
So, finally, I will recommend Samsung X700 ....

To usman....i am using x700 and quite happy about the phone as i already mentioned in my previous mail to u. now i want to buy one mobile for my wife...she was using motorola L7 and accoding to me it cannot be compared to x700.
so i wanted to buy one more samsung mobile in exchange with L7.
can u suggest me any good phone or shall i buy one more x700 ?

The downloading limit for file size is 1024KB (or 1MB).... This is wap browser's limit.... I tried to download a 1.3MB MP3 file using Opera Mini which uses X700's wap browser for downloading files.... After downloading 1024KB data, it displayed “Try Again....” error and stopped.... but i have successfully downloaded a 945KB mp3 file through wap....
To Hassan:
The “mptrim” software is for your PC, NOT for your mobile.... You can double the mp3 file's volume by this software....
Click to it's exe file and open any mp3 file present on your PC.... Then adjust volume control to +6dB.... Then, select “Save As” menu option and click “Save” button.... Within 1 second , new mp3 file with high volume will be created!.... Transfer it to your mobile through usb or bluetooth....

Check that you are able to open wap sites through wap browser.... If not, clear the cache of wap browser and try again.... Some times, java midlet like Opera Mini has some connection problem.... Restart mobile and try again.... I have successfully installed Opera Mini 3 after tried 2 times!

You should go for 512MB sandisk card.... It works excellent.... Fast and reliable.... I am using it for more than 6 months without any problem....

This is the best java games wap site for samsung/ motorola (176x220 pixels) screen size.... Save this address into X700's wap browser as bookmark:

I have downloaded some excellent graphics games from this site (including prince of persia3).... This is russian site but names of games are in english.... To go to next page, click “>>” link and to download game directly into X700, click to the link which starts from words “yCT...” then you can download java game through gprs wap connection!

You cannot convert sis file into jar file.... You can only make JAD from JAR by using JADMAKER software. This is the downloading link:

i'm thinking of getting a memory card for my phone.256 MB sandisk is costing 600RS in delhi and 512Mb costs 850rs.i think u r using a 512MB sandisk.how is it working???which one do u think i should go for 256 or 512

“You can turn speakerphone “ON” during a call by pressing “i/OK” center key and a pop-up message will appear that “Speaker ON?” Select “Yes” option to turn it ON....”
