Is it possible to create a new folder in phone memory...not in memory card ? if its possible then how to made a new folder in phone memory...
and
can i copy songs through computer without converter.

hy usman .i've asked this question before and u replied and i'm sorry to ask again usman and wish u could replky.is sony W550 STILL THE best and loudest phone in the market??? i wanna to buy it so is there any advice for me????????thanx

i bought this phone few month back .. but after reasonable use the hands free jack (in the phone) has gone loose i cannot connect handsfree which means no radio no mp3 playing through headphone etc .... am too disappointed .. although the samsung service centre says they would repair it ..but it seems that this is a common problem with this model ....
otherwise this phone performs great ..

To increase the mp3 volume, i am using "mptrim" freeware software (you can increase volume upto +6dB with no distortion ) ....you can download this from www.mptrim.com

Dear Usman,
About a month back, I had asked you regarding increasing the volume of mp3 files and you replied to convert vcd files to mp3 using VCD cutters and then to use jet audio and nero burning rom 6. I tried to get the VCD cutters but still I don't have it.
I am just thinking can I use an existing mp3 file to convert to vcd file and then back to mp3 by VCD cutter because all I have is mp3 files and nothing in vcd format.
My question to you- I have only mp3 files and no other music files. I was using Goldwave to increase the volume of mp3 files and then musicmatch juke box to convert them to mp3 files. The distortion in quality of sound and a background hissing noice was detected. Now, Can you tell me how to increase mp3 volume? Or, VCD cutter, jetaudio and nero 6 is the only way?

on x700 or another thing is that i wants to know how to download firmware and procedure to install it on x700

2) the maximum storage of the memory card? 512mb or 1 gb.

I followed the procedure posted by Azeem and Usman for installing java files greater than 300 kb thru USB. Each time i attepmted, the downloading stopped at 98% and aborted. I repeated the procedure many time as told in the posts, but failed at 98%. Any Guess???
(I downdloaded both the jar and jad files of the application like Quran, and uploaded thu java uploader, only jad files appear there for uploading). I may be wrong in creating jar files...any help??

Yes ! X700 has EDGE Class 10 and i can see the “E” logo when i uses Telenor sim because EDGE service depends on your service provider ... but with mobilink jazz, it only shows “G” logo since EDGE service of mobilink is only available in some sectors of Islamabad city till now....
If your sim is GPRS/EDGE enabled, then you can see the “G or E” logo in blue colour all the times but when you connects to the internet through wap/mms/email, then it turns into RED colour .... This RED coloured “G or E” logo is the clear indication that you are using internet connection....
To Mohamed Rusthi:
During call, select “Options” and you can access phonebook, messages,turn voice clarity:ON , Mute option, services of your service provider, and so on... You can turn speakerphone “ON” during a call by pressing “i/OK” center key and a pop-up message will appear that “Speaker ON?” Select “Yes” option to turn it ON....

CB stands for “ Cell Broadcast” message... It is also called as “Cell Info Display” .... This is service provider dependent and only available if your service provider gives you this facility ..... and receives from your service provider ....
While make sure that memory card is inserted into X700 otherwise you cannot save “mass storage” setting .... When i select mass storage option and click save, automatically a new removeable drive appears in my computer and the setting is still as mass storage even i uses the safely remove hardware option ( in system tray).... i have to manually select modem to change the settings or just i have to unplug the usb cable from X700 ....

It doesnot have airplane mode...
To Khozema:
I think, mubarak has made a new jad file (not jar file).... You can create jad from jar file using Jad Maker software ....
To PHONE EXPERT:
Read my previous post on 24 august 2006 (to suresh) for file transfer to your phone or memory card directly from PC.... Best of luck to be a “phone expert”!

As far as I know, it is not possible to create folders within the phone memory. They act as system folders and are set as default. The folders cannot be altered within the phone memory.

hi Usman, I was going through a previous message of yours which is as below:
"To see the area name in standby mode, you just need to click the “CB” option on lower right corner of screen.... then you will see the area name below the service provider name.... and you must click on “CB” option to see the area location!"
What do you mean by "CB" in this message. Could you please elaborate. Sorry for my ignorance.
Also, how do I make sure that the USB settings are set to "Mass storage" instead of "Modem". I set it to "Mass storage" but it automatically reverts back to "modem".
