Forget about installation through usb/bluetooth .... I am unsuccessfull till now! .... use your gprs/WAP connection for downloading games to X700.... It is very easy to install through wap.... even if jar files are on PC, you can install it through wap.... Read my previous posts on 5 october, 2006 and 9 october, 2006 for this matter!

the problem is that after i instaled PPP program and "java uploaded" on my pc,on the main bar ppp icon have a red cross an say: "no devices conected".i haved been instaled 3 times and still have same problem.i don't know what i can do more,i understend all the steps but this i can't resolve no matter how i've tried.the icon says about some "usbport.dll" missing.where can i find that?

hi,i have a big problem!i dwnloag games from http://www.getjar.com/software/Samsung/SGH_X700/set18
but,when i load them into my x700 in "other files" directory,the games apares with a red sign and when i try to load them apares the massege "unknow aplication".The games are specialy for x700,with jad/jar extension file.i don;t have micro sd card,but i erased all my pre-instaled games so i have a lot of free memory.thanks for your next advises.

Well, i think i have written something wrong.... i was only suggested that samsung must realize some disadvantages of this set.... and they should release it's new version with these features.... and the "X750" was only the name that i suggested!....

Unfortunately you cannot zoom or see the photos in full-screen. Thats one of the disadvantages of this phone.

When select USB Settings as “Mass Storage”, you can only access to memory card folders.... and the new removeable drive will appear in “my computer”..... while to access phone's memory, change USB Settings to “Modem” and open Samsung PC Studio 3 software .... Then you can see the “SGH-X700 Connected” message and you can access phone book, sms, mms, all phone's folders and so on .... For complete info about USB Connectivity with PC, read my previous post on 24 August , 2006.... Thanks!

it's a nice and god phone. the thing is that i can not connect it to my p.c..i tried with s.d ram, it does recognise it, but not the phone itself.would anyone give any suggestions? i have already change the USB settings as "massstorage" and "picbrige" didn't help at all,

To copy contact from phone memory to SIM card , select “Contacts” in standby mode..... this will load the phone book.... select any contact name and click “Options” Then .... “View”.... then select mobile number of this selected entry.... click “Options” .... then select option no. 3 .... Copy to .... SIM .... and click “Save” ... New message will appear that “Copy Completed” .... That's it.... You have successfully copied a "contact Entry" from Phone to SIM memory!

I got the mobile from Saravana stores. I had misquoted the amount previously, it was Rs.8400. I didn't even ask for 512 MB SD card's price because I had decided to buy 1 GB card(Rs.1930 or something, I don't have the bill in my hand now).

Reply to query dated 17th Oct- I am actually using a multiple card reader to transfer files inbetween microSD card and PC. When you use a card reader your SD card becomes like another removable disk like your Floppy drive and CD drive. So, it's very easy to transfer anykind of file between SD card and PC and it's very fast- transfering a 100 MB file to SD card from PC will take about a minute or so. This doesn't require any software to install (apart from the driver installation for card reader hardware). Multiple card reader supports all card- microSD, MS duo pro, etc. Costing Rs.400 in India.
