      To Ayaz Noor:
There is not much difference in the prices of sandisk and kingston memory cards.... almost same price!
      To Ali :
Eid Mubarak to you too! and thanks a lot for your comment..... You can forward the audio or video file by pressing “Right” navigation key for 1 second and to rewind the files, press “Left” navigation key for 1 second.... while “Up” key will open the playlist ( for audio mp3/mp4 files only) and “down” key will stop the file.... while when playing , center “ i/ok” key will pause / resume the file!.... and the playlist only support audio files (not video files)......

            To Ayaz Noor:
Eid Mubarak brother! Here is this week prices of microSD cards (kingston) for karachi market:
            256 MB @ 750 Rupees
            512 MB @ 1150 Rupees
            1GB @ 2400 Rupees
Well i guess, 128MB Card costs about 400 rupees ..... and it is very unfortunate that your 512 MB card is corrupted.... So, it means that there is great risk when format it through X700.... I have 512 MB sandisk card ( purchased @ 1250 rupees 3 months before from Jilani Center, Main Tower, Karachi) with 5 years warranty!.... If your card was on warranty, then claim warranty from dealer....

                        To vir:
Yes! You are right.... The next, previous option is available only if pics are on phone's memory and for memory card, you need to open each file individually!... This is a disadvantage.... But every phone has some disadvantage if you closer look at it.... Any way, we hope that Samsung could release new version of X700 as X750 with these enhancements:
1.Full screen video playback in landscape mode and high speakers volume....
2.Multi-tasking capability.... minimize of mp3 player....
3.No limit of number of playlists creation for both audio/ video files....
4.JAR file size limit to 1MB with Java World size to 8MB....
5.Audio/ video recording directly to memory card..... and audio recording with mp3 format( not amr!)
6.Easy Java games installation using usb cable/ bluetooth....
7.Piscel viewer for office / pdf documents with ability to edit/ create new ones....
                        8.Ringing profiles ....
The list goes on .... but X700 has some other great advantages over other brands.... see previous comparison of 6233....

It's so simple!.... Just open your desired folder either in phone or memory card .... then select any file ( but do not open it) and click “Options”.... send via ... bluetooth.... A new screen will appear.... Select every file which you want to send with “check” on it's check box by pressing “i/ok” button for each file.... OR if you want to send all files of this folder, then press “Add All” button... then click “Send” option.... and for complete procedure of file transfer through bluetooth , read my previous post on 4 september, 2006.... Thanks!

                                        To K2 & Atanas:
Here is the part 2 of comparison of Samsung X700 and Nokia 6233....

                                        8.Network/ Internet:
                                        6233: UMTS / 900Mhz / 1800Mhz / 1900Mhz.... GPRS Class 10.... EDGE Class 10.... 3G Network... HSCSD Network .... Wap 2.0 / xHTML browser.... Streaming 3gp content...
                                        X700: 900Mhz / 1800Mhz / 1900Mhz.... GPRS Class 10.... EDGE Class 10.... Wap 2.0 / xHTML browser.... No Streaming....

                                        9.Connectivity to Other Devices:
6233: Transfer files through usb cable/ infrared/ bloetooth is possible.... It can send several files in a row by mark several or all files.... You can use Nokia PC Suite software or USB mass storage feature for file transfer.... Use Pictbridge feature to send images to a bluetooth enabled printer .... You can use it as a modem for your PC using it's internet connection....
X700: Transfer files through usb cable/ bloetooth is possible.... It can send several files in a row by mark several or all files.... You can use Samsung PC Studio 3.0 software or USB mass storage feature for file transfer.... Use Pictbridge feature to send images to a bluetooth enabled printer .... You can use it as a modem for your PC using it's internet connection....
Note: Both devices are fully compatible with USB Bluetooth Dongle for file transfer to/from PC through bluetooth.... By using dongle, you can send/ receive files to/from phone's memory or directly to/from memory card....

                                        10.Full Screen Mode:
6233: You can view images/ videos in full screen landscape mode....It can zoom images even from memory card....
X700: You cannot view images/ videos in full screen mode... It can only zoom images if files are on phone's photo folder only.... But if you set any image as a wallpaper, then it will be displayed as full screen but not landscape mode!

                                        11.Flight / Demo Mode:
6233: It can be used in plane mode which disable all networks.... Or use without sim card inserted as demo mode....
X700: It has no flight/ demo mode....

                                        12.Phone book:

X700: Phone book of 1000 contacts with photo call but no voice dialing.... You can assign any audio mp3 file as caller ringtone....

                                        13.Security feature / Answering Machine:
6233: You cannot secure folders/ files to restrict from access or removal... Also it has no answering machine feature...
X700: You can secure all media/ messages / memory card folders by using one password only.... It has answering machine feature with your own voice message for callers if you are unavailable....

                                        14.Other Features:
6233: It has standard 1100mAh Li-Po battery lasts for about 48 hours with normal usage... Having 64 channels polyphonic ringtones with mp3 support... It has no copy feature for files, only move file to other folders.... FM stereo radio with 20 channels ( visual radio is broadcast dependent) works on background also.... It can record calls to available free memory and caller/receiver can listen the beep every 5 seconds which is bad. It cannot record FM radio programs....You cannot adjust display settings for brightness/ backlight time out.... You cannot rewind/ forward the video files since it is only available for audio files ( looks not good at all).It supports themes and you can download new themes from net. It's firmware v 3.7 has some serious bugs ... upgrade to v 4.7 for better usage....
X700: It has standard 900mAh Li-ion battery lasts for about 36 hours with normal usage.... Having 40 channels polyphonic ringtones with mp3 support... It has copy / move feature for files.... FM stereo radio with 30 channels works on background also.... It can record calls/ FM radio programs upto 1 hour with no beeps sound which is good .... You can rewind/ forward both the audio and video files easily! You can adjust display settings for brightness/ backlight time out... even you can turn dim backlight “OFF”.... It supports skins....

So, both phones have some advantages / disadvantages .... and Nokia 6233 is good for multimedia ( except not support for rewind / forward the video file) and for security features, Samsung X700 is impressive.... So, it's all depends on users which features they will be preferred!
