i want to ask couple of things..and be very kind to get prompt reply as i m planning to buy it very soon.
1. hows its bluetooth with other phones..any connectivity problem?
2. any way to view videos on full screen?
3. what are the formats suported both audio and video and..any way to increase the formats through any software?
4. i guess 3d games cant b played on it rt?
5.can mp3 songs be setup as ringtone ?Hows the vibrator and does it vibrate and ring at same time?
6. is it true you cant listen to fm and mp3 without headset...i.e through speakers only?
7.hows the menu system...i mean..is it easy to operate files and functions or as heard tough and have to go through several things to gt the job done.
8.how many colours are available - only black as per told by someone.
9.hows the software...does this phone hang and gives problem like many others?
10. is it true tht the p hone cant multifunction at time of data transfer through usb or blutooth.
11. Does the voice breaks down and conectivity problem is there if u r underground or nt in some open space?

to anjan you can record video in high quality upto 25 minutes and low quality upto 50 minutes and you can set mp3 as ringtone

i want to know how many hours of video recording can be done in x-700. product brochure shows 35 mb shared memory. but how many hours. Can mp3 songs be used as ringtones?

Over all this is great set. very easy to use and with many features that any on ecan enjoy being in his mobile. the most attractive feature to me atleast is its PRIVACY option ,as you can apply password on any file you want it to be in your knowledge only,even on inbox of message too.Battery backup is ....mmmm ok can be compromised.but have great opportunity of improvement.if i compare this mobile special to pakistan market it is best option as here all the copetitiros mobile with the similar features are atleast 4 to 5 thousand expensive than X-700. for example NOKIA and SONY ERRICSON.
if any one from Pakistan is in dilemma regarding its purchase i would honestly recommend it as a user.one last thing Camera results with 1.3 mega pixel are better than any nokia camera or sony erricson camera with the same mega pixel capacity. WELL DONE SAMSUNG.

i would recomment to by x700 .because of being a low price mobile it is really good pardon please great phone.the +ve point for k750 over x700 is RDF and full screen video playback and you can view pictures in full size .k750 got worse battery compared to x700.i agree that x700 dont have good battery but surely better than k750

to usman try using 320kbps mp3 or directly from audio cd you will find difference

This phone really goes on my nerves, because the battery is weaker than the one of my 2002' Motorola (Ni-Mh).
I also heared it from other users of this phone, so I can't recommend anyone to buy it.
Here is my test:
I waited till the battery was empty, than charged it (I never make interim charges, so I treat them good I think). But like a bad girlfriend it is not grateful.
This is what I did with the phone:
-receiving 11 SMS
-sending 1 SMS
-one 5 minute call
-appr. 1 hour radio
-NO Bluetooth
-NO GPRS
-NO use of camera and mp3
After only 36 hours the battery is empty again!
I will ask my dealer for new firmware, hope that helps. Never again this phone!

Thanks a lot for your high compliment for me. I tried to convert 160kbps mp3 file into 96kbps mp3 pro file by using JetAudio version 6.2 and it worked great. Yes, file size is decreased from 3.91MB to 2.3 MB but with same high quality sound. Good thing is that it can be played on X700. Thanks again for this very useful tip.

thanks for the information regarding mp3 pro.i've dowloaded jetaudio, but have encountered one problem.u've told to click output format and select mp3pro, but whn i did that there is no view of mp3 pro,only wma , wav formats r there.so the pblm s that i cant save file as mp3.pls reply.
