Saw the X820 @ the shop. It is super amazingly thin, compact & lightweight! How i wish it comes in combination of silver/black, it'd b more appealing in the aesthetic dept then.
Is it true X820 CANNOT vibrate+ring simultaneously?

I have the cingular mms and wap settings and for this and both are workign but I can't seem to get my gmail settings to work on this like I could with the d600. ANyone else have this issue or have a fix?

i have this phone
battery life from first charge was about 2 1/2 days
cameras fine not that i use it, memory is not an issue as all my mp3 ringers are compressed sensibly
doesnt feel like its going to break and the screen isnt too small.
bluetooth 2.0 is quick enough however would have liked a data cable in the box like my LG KG800 has.
cant understand why it doesnt have vibe & ring though, quite annoying.
good phone though 8/10

Terrible battery life.
Feel like made of cheap plastic.
Although thin, too wide & long.....not nice to hold when talking.
Low ring tone volume & speaker volume.
Cheap quality handsfree speakerphone.
To be honest, this cheap phone is a piece of junk!

i use this phone a lot for messaging and the battery easily lasts me 3 days. to increase battery life, screen brightness can be reduced and keyboard light can be set set to be used only between certain times. had D600 before which had an awful battery life (I'm talking half a day). x820 screen is amazing and menu comes in "black" and "white" and is very modern - not the usual samsung menu.

Here are the things I don't like about the phone. (had it for 2 days)
1. Battery Life is SHORT!!! (you need a charger @ home/car/office)
2. All Contacts are listed in phonebook insted of just primary name.
3. Cannot assign a funciton to the Soft-Keys
4. Video record time is short!
5. You can't creat shortcuts for a lot of items.
6. No Memory Slot
Sometimes i think it's too thin! If the entire phone was as thick as the camera end, it would still be sexy and hot and improved all the above issues.

Price of the X820 already dropped down to around US$250(depending on the store mark up).......almost half what it cost a couple of months ago when it first came on the market!

Hi may I ask if the screen resolution is good? Cus its 220-176 compared to other phones with 320-240 resolution.Some one pls reply, thks.

This model will come out to Tmobile USA under Samsung SGH-T619. Exactly the same but different color (gray instead of black). Tmobile will also come out with another slimmer slider much like the D820 they currently have out right now. I have no exact time when Tmobile will release these phones. But im hoping sometime this fall. I really wanna get my hands on it.

Sabri - I put it in the front pocket and dont have any worries about it breaking. Just dont lean on anything to make sure. It's easy to forget you even have it as its so light and unobtrusive.
you can text with the mp3 on. Just no bluetooth or tv out with the mp3 on. its in the manual

i checked the slashphone site and saw the other colors for this unit.
i love............the blue one. but how will i get one? i don't think they are now selling those others colors here in middle east, especially bahrain.
i wanted to buy, please help.

does anyone know all the keywords for vivid text more (my messages, settings, sms, 3d vivd text on) - love brings up a heart, bored - zzz's, home, a house, etc. :)

I bought the x820 a few days now and I can honestly say that it’s perfect in every way! It makes my old phone (Motorola v3) look like yesterdays news….And it is!
Comparing the size, features, and refreshing new trendy style of x820; other slim mobile phones at this moment, cannot compete!
only set backs are that it does not accept a memory card, so your stuck with a 80mb phone and its fragile so you must look after it carefully!
