Hello, I wan to ask if someone of you has experience with video shooting with this phone. How long is the max length of the video which can be shoot, are there any limitations for the length, can I used it as a camera and make a video for lets say 4 hours?

Brendan, 05 Feb 2013I got my b2710 wet and now it won't work. Samsung says warr... moreIt isn't a waterproof phone it is water resistant phone, therefore water can damage it and void the warranty. However they should be able to be in a meter of water for 1/2 hours if it is fully sealed. Nokia has a technology that makes a phone waterproof but haven't launched it yet

If you set to 3g mode, the phone will last 5 days..but for 2g mode, it will last 7-9 days

Phone its not bad, however the fact that I can not make the phone ring longer drives me up the wall
no matter how hard I try to pick up in time I have missed call after missed call,
(and pls no silly comments like "hang aroungd your neck !)has any one been able to "extend" their ring tones ?

I bought this phone over a year ago for my husband who drop his phone frequently, hates touch-screenand loves mini torch on his phone. This isn't a perfect phone. Txting is different from other phones, alarm sucks, it accidentally unlocks itself in his pocket...but it's tough. He gets so annoyed with the phone sometimes and throws it against walls, concrete and it won't break. He accidentally dropped it in petrol and washed it thoroughly with detergent...and it still works. The speaker is excellent, and it receives calls well even in remote areas. So I'd say it's pretty impressive. Worth the money...especially for blokes who are rough with their phones.

this phone is well prepared for someone whose looking old fashioned usage and durability..for me it's enough since all of the smartphones used to waste their battery life within 1 day..plus this x series doesn't exist in indonesia market which my phone becomes popular amongst my friends
i'm just wondering how to set incoming sms saves in phone memory?

i have that phone for a year..
but today GPS didn't work, GPS can't lock sattelites.. :'(
any body know why??

The only proble with this phone is, at least for me that it doesn't have 3.5 mm jack. Actually I don't even understand why does it have mp3-, and limited video-playing capabilities when it doesn't have a headphone jack.
Even Sonim phones have jack, yeah it's 2.5 mm but still, they have one.

I use this phone for outdoors activities, and believe me, I use it in limited places (few square meters somewhere in the forest) where I know that good mobile phones have 1 bar signal. It never disappoint me. If you need a phone for calls, sms, get gps position....don' hesitate to buy it

have had the unit for 15 days now, and it's preatty good, big buttons, etc. on the low side, the flash does turn on as mentioned and sometime i can't get calls or make a call until i restart the phone. i realized that this happens when it is connected true bluetooth, gps function is useless because you need gsm connection for map. i'll try different firmware maybe it will fix this issue. my firm b2710xxlc1 csc b2710oxalc1
