Thanks for your comment Adam - I was thinking about getting the Z500 from 3 - and am tossing up between that and Telstra. What made you choose 3 and are you happy with them?

    I have recently bought this phone from three in australia. It is a great little phone but somewhat expensive. I would advise it to anyone who wants three capabilities in a small package.

    I love this phone, it has everything i need/want and more! the menu is intuitive and sooo easy to use. the camera is okay quality but blurs a little as the lens attracts dust. there is loads of memory - 50 mbs and the expandable transflash slot is great!

    So if you want a really good phone and have money to spend... the samsung z500 is made for you, just like its made for me!!:p

      Anybody tried Tranfering file BIGGER then 6Mb to Z500? I have tried using it without External T-Flash Memory Card it will not accept. If with Memory card will it works. If YES then I will but a Bigger Memory maybe 256Mb.

        Have the same problem (with mp3-files). Works fine over bluetooth, but that takes ages... so I'd preffer to use the usb-connection.

          could anyone let me know how to send tunes from ur p.c. to the phone, having a bit of difficulty. also how to e-mail through the phone. cheers

            I've figured out how to download ringtones to my phone. i just need to know if i can download songs in the music file instead of the ringtones file?as it allows you to play the entire song with better quality.thx

              By the way, it's not yet available here in the Philippines (First Asia Mobile, Wellcom, Semicon) even in Ghills..So im not sure how it would sell when it's actually here.. probably P25k because E720 sells like P22,000.00...

                Hi Chadwick yes I'm from Malaysia. If you know the seller for the T Flash maybe you can try it out using 512Mb first before you buy or you can ask the Samsung Sales & service before you buy. If not maybe you can use 2 units 256Mb for Different file.

                  I must have done something in the Test mode (*#9998*324#), now my phone cannot make/receive calls & access WAP within 3G coverage area. It works fine in GSM/GPRS mode though. Can anyone help me please??? I tried taking it into a service centre and they told me it will take about 2-3 days to look at the problem, I just couldn't be bothered...

                    Ok but I haven't got a clue about how to install games directly from ur pc to the phone...i dont either have a cable so i just use my IR on my pc to connect the phone in that way i can put pics and mp3s but not java games...but i saw that a couple of italian guys were developing a method but i have not got an idea of when they will have it done...Peace...sorry for the bad language in a hurry plus from sweden hahaha ;)

                                Hi.Andypyt. I saw handphone book before . I find for you later. You from Malaysia? I want buy this phone but I scare if I insert 512 MB T-Flash memory card , the phone will very slow and lag.

                                  hey cyberlite (or anyone), will d Z500BUEI1 firmware work on non-vodafone units?my battery life seemd deteriorated when i tried the code posted, i must have pressed a sensitive command {*#9998*324#}(my phone restarted & after that d battery doesnt last a day)... so i want a new software..my battery used to last for three days..will it erase all my files in my phone(mp3, videos, etc)?what else do i need to store d new software?tnx.....my yahoo messenger is jeyytm..il appreciate some help...

                                        I really dont understand what u mean...You have to be able to use my site because I use it and my friend uses it also but with another samsung...Which file are u talking about? There has to be several files and you can scroll down through them... just press the middle button on your phone and it will ask if you wanna download the game...then press it again and it will start downloading it and then saves it in your games folder...Try again...Peace out...
