Amazing specs, defo gonna get 1, but i do hav 1 query- does it have a flash? it doesnt look like it. apart from that, amazing specs, lookin forward to a great long-winded review!

I prefer the 2 colour one. Just silver on the sides and the centre black. The one with 2 tones in the centre is kinda weird looking. But that is just me.
Could anyone post some sample video at maximum resolution and image quality in bright day light and also indoor artificial lighting.

I'm kinda interested in this phone but the resolution is kinda disappointing though for video recording. I'm so inlove with my E720's high res video recording (352x288).

Yesterday finally arrived the Z500 nad i'm very happy about this fantastic phone.
Anyway, I have a problem which is that there are pictures and ringtones which are locked i don't know how to unlock them. So anyone can explain me how to unlock those pics and ringtones

I have it and it does have loudspeaker........
D500 slightly better at camera mode for special effects..... Hubby has D500 so i can compare the two.......

Vodafone do not use different sims for there 3G . THE REQUIRED SOCS are selected on the customers account to enable the 3G services. Know this for a facy for I work for Voda UK

can anybody help.....
everytime i try and load a file onto the phone using the pc studio software i get..
access denied please select a different folder?
If i can get this to work this phone has everything u need !
would have been nice to have kept the external mp3 controls and the flash like on the e720.

I think somebody is mistaken! Voda do not have 3G specific SIM cards!! Other networks may but not Voda. The SIM holds the Subscriber Identity, the phone generates the UMTS/WCDMA frequencies. Therefore it is just 3G services (ie Video Calling) that need to be activated for the subscriber account. Very old SIMs may need to be updated because they do not have enough memory not because they are not 3G. If you have 2.5G phone woring now, chances are you will be fine. Anyway, nice phone, will get one for the wife because the Z107 isn't what it should be!

hi i work for a mobile phone cumpany and yes u do need a 3G simcard for the 3G to work to it is not sumthing u can just add on.

Got my vodafone v500 but changed the sim card to my origional vodafone sim and the video camera does not seem to work!!! Do i need to get it unlocked or do you need a special sim card??????

international videocalls are alreay possible; if both have 3g fone and UMTS coverage it will work. The operator will charge you the normal voice roaming tariff for now i think.

no 3g sim is not required; besides; as far as I know 3g is an add on which can be placed on every simcard

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have recently got the samsung v500, does the video telephone work all over the world? Eg. If i made a call from Australia to UK (both phones are samsung v500) will it work ok?

I'm pretty sure that it's a 1MP and no there isn't a flash..... if you go to the samsung website you can download the user manual in English now which might be helpful to you..

I'm confused about the camera pixels, here it says that is 1MP and on other sites I found it at 1.3MP and 1.2MP, flash included
