no it doesnt matter if you turn the phone on or off when you take the minisd out

does anyone know how to put a java game onto the phone? since i cant use wap etc, is it possible to transfer via mini sd or usb?

i am still confused to set my mp3 songs as ringtone, as far as i know i have to convert the format of my songs to mmf/aac??? is there any software that you guys would recommend to convert the format of the songs?? thx.

i used the audio converter to change the mp3 files to AAC files and mps (lame) files. Then, save both into the miniSD card on the ph. After slotting the card into the ph, it cannot even detact the files..? I had also tried sending it via bluetooth, transmittion fail too. (The mp3 I hv used are legal ones) Anyone managed to set mp3/AAC files as ringtone in spore? maybe the features in the ph had change over here? pls share yr views.

my mom bought me a sharp 703 it color is light green one..when i used here in the philippines at first it was lock.so i went to my friend whos have a shop of repairing cellphone..so he unlock it.but some of original setting of sharp703 was deleted.but some is added.at fisrt i cant use mp3 as ringtone.so i used laptop compaq to trnsfer mp3 thru infrared.and i try it.so it was succesful trnfer the file..and automatically save to ringtones folder..and i assign it as ringtone..it was succesful..so i trnsfer almost 13mp files in my sharp 703 and i use it and assign as ringtone.it was great guy..and i use it also as mp3 audio.this cellphone was great...i dont know guyz why u encounter that u cant use mp3 as ringtone the same with AMR file.u can use it also as ringotone guyz.just explore ur sharp703 it was great cellphone for.for more info email me at iraren1418@yahoo.com im frm philippines guyz.albert

has anyone updated their firmware? and if so is it useful, worth it? i think that if we do, it could make the phone fully functional?

you should still be able to open it with itunes and convert that to aac then trick the phone with the legal one, then use it as ringtone

mik, anything? how bout if i used the voice recorder, it saves it as AMR. So then how can i use that as a ringtone? convert the AMR to mp3? then follow your steps?

if you follow my steps that i've posted and use the legal mp3 file that i've uploaded, you should be able to assign anything as ringtone

yeah you cant assign amr as a ringtone...even if it is a voice recorded from your phone because you can only assign LEGAL mp3s, AAC(m4a?), and AAC+ files.

I have the same problem as all of u do. I just bought sharp 703. my friend send me a very cute audio/ amr. i can listen but i cant assign it as my ringtone. can somebody help me? is it bcoz the audio is not a legal one?
