              Receptions
              ===========

              If you live in rural North America (US/Canada) I wouldn't recommend this phone on its own. 1900Mhz is the only frequency available on the 903SH and general GSM coverage in the US is poor outside of major cities. Apparently 3G networks also use the 1900 Mhz frequency, which again is NOT compatible with the 903SH (2100 Mhz).

              IF your operator in your city operates UMTS 2100 & GSM 1900 then go for it, but for travel I think you need to get an extra CDMA handset to cover you.

              cheers,

              Skater42

                    ========

                    No, it's not US$ 1200. There is no standard US$ price as Vodafone doesn't operate in the US.

                    It's AU$1200 (~US$900) when you buy it OUTRIGHT from Vodafone.

                    On eBay the price is between $US500-800.

                    The MMC card is useless unfortunatelly. Yes, you can use the 903SH in Singapore and I would recommend buying it from eBay. Unfortunatelly I have no links with any sellers, you will need to find your own. I recommend eBay.com.

                    cheers,

                      btw, do you have any deals for v903? or u sell it on ebay as well?

                      i really love this phone!
                      but i duno how to get started!

                          Reception
                          ==========

                          Your questions is too vague to answer properly, but a few questions to you:

                          Where do you live? If in the US or Canada, the 903SH only supports the 1900Mhz frequency. So if you live outside of the major cities receptions is most likely to be poor.

                          Europe: This continent is covered in 900/1800/2100 (UMTS). Travelling in Mid-Europe will never leave you without reception.

                          903SH Internal Antenna
                          ======================

                          The Intenna of the 903SH is very sensitive but picks up signals well. Nowadays it is not so much the antenna that matters, but the environment you live in. It is best to leave your settings on "Auto" rather than lock your phone into GSM or 3G.

                              Hey, eBay is the best and cheapest place unless you have Vodafone UMTS (3G) near you, then you can get it on a contract.

                              No - you cannot use MMC. MiniSD slots are much smaller than MMC/SD.

                              Yes - messages can be deleted automatically, it's a setting in the message options.

                              I'm in the process of writing a review of the 903SH, will be another couple of days I think.

                              cheers,

                                hi! i'm very interested to get this phone! any idea where i can purchase it? i'm not very sure how eBay works so i'm a bit hesitant. toall users of this phone! i have few qns to ask!
                                -for the external memory, can a MMC card be used instead?
                                -when a message is sent, does it delete automatically instead of having to delete manually?
                                -any idea where i can get a feel of this phone?

                                    @Unkown

                                    A)Because you have the Japanese Version and it doesn't support MP3. If you open the music player it will only show supported files. To play music you need to convert it to M4A (AAC, AAC+) first.

                                    B)Wrong folder. Make sure you place all music files into the "My Items > Sounds & Ringtones" folder.

                                    C) The file isn't actually an MP3, but maybe another format like WMA or WAV? Make sure you show the file-type in your computer to see what it is.

                                    cheers,

                                        I bought my SHARP 903 from ebay for US$460 and it was save and easy. The seller doesn't exist anymore unfortunatelly.

                                        Generally it's save, just make sure they have plenty of feedback. Don't buy from anyone with less than 20 feedback.
