how do you change the firmware of this cellphone from japanese to european?

Hey Kenny, guess what.... I also have a W900i comming from UK in the white. is that the version that you have? I sold my 903 ages ago and I got the NokiaN70, that was such a cool phone! But anyway I found this cheep W900i so I bought it, just waiting for them in the UK to send it over to little NZ, I will let you know when I get it... leave your email on a posting or send me an email from here.

hi timothy(ha ha) its kenny,,4 weeks ago i come out of a niteclub at 4am & two lads i knew where watching sky & some breaking news coming in on a s/e w900i.it was better than i expected so on that sat morning took out a contract (voda)& got one.. its been great about everything but there is a slight colour abnormalities in the blacks somtimes wen videoing...ive kept my 903 as its more worth it to me after the local phone chap only offered me £100 for it.So will be posting on w900i chat from now on.Not getting n71 now as its only got 10 mb of internal mem and from n6680 experiance it not enuf so will go for n80 when things have settled after launch...hspda is on its way in uk & we need new handsets so who knows what will happen 6 months down the line?have not said about my new phone as i thought you hated them ,,be good,,, kenny

i bought a new sharp 903 for 550 cdn...now when i bought it..the soft ware was all in asian..so the guy that i bought it from send it back to korea and they transformed everythin back to english version..now my usb driver is it not workin..it says usb not compactable for this windows and i am usin windows xp...i tried my frriends computers nothin work..i gave it back to the guy and he said.that he send it back to korea the usb driver and it will be fine once it returns..i doubt that..does anyone kno wat could be rong with it?? please help me out..my email id is badshah404@Hotmail.com leave msg if u may please..thank u

hi jenny. try to insert your card first and see if it will work otherwise you need to format it using the phone. you will see a broken memory card icon on top of the display if the card is not formatted for the phone. hope that helps

2G?! I remember reading the specifications in the manual and it says up to 1G only...

Yes, this phone has a great built in MP3 player... it can hold has much as 2Gb of music wich is the maximum of mini sd card allowed.
It´s just great !!

Hi everyone, I have since sold my Nokia N70 and gotten the Sony Ericsson W900i, well i get it next friday, We will see how that phone goes, 903 is still my all time #1 FAV FAV Phone EVER, 904 and 905 still dont beat this phone!!!!!

Sorry Buddy...
this phone has sepia,monochrome,negative,sketch and continuous shoot but you cannot use all these features in high resolution mode.
and there is a function calle Scene in which there are option like against sun,Night,Sports,Characters,Pet.Potrait....

I realize the camera has many features...but does it have the specific effects,

the sharp 903 uses mini sd memory cards..
I have a 1 gig in mine and it works fine

Thank you for your advice.
After the software ask to turn on the phone and plug the usb. Nothing happened. I have repeated the installation process several times and I got the same result. Then when I tried to update the usb driver, windows tells me that it can not find the driver any where (cd-rom, hard drive or web).
It will be great if you can give some more information.

I just traded my Panasonic VS7 for a Sharp 903, now I want to make sure the size of SD card it supports up to. (Damn you Panasonic, nice phone but what's this 30MB disk space and limit to 6MB max per transfer?!)
I've read in the previous posts that it "might" supports up to 1-2Gig, can anyone confirm about this please? Because right now I want to buy an SD card but dunno about the max memory I can get.
