ooooo, i have seen that Samsung Z710, nice but my next phone will be the Samsung Z540. i prefer that phone, that Z710 looks like the Black 903SH.

Hi Mark. Yes u r right about that Logo but at least that's the way how to get rid of that logo if that anoys anyone.
UK version network settings has only 2 options...Auto and GSM. The auto has the 3G function.

Hi Jenny, i had that same prob with my SX833 chinese firmware, I couldnt fix it therefore i had to flash back to the best firmware... UK firmware.
Gues Boy: what is this samsung? Samsung would be my fav brand of phones at the moment... what is this new phone?? dont leave us all hanging like that mate lol

can someone help me out again?
i have the china version sharp..for the games that came with the phone, everytime i try to open up the games, it says＂cannot open, not enough memory." the thing is, i don't have anything on my phone and i have a blank memory card. does anyone know how i can get my games started? also, what types of video files can the phone play? I have .avi files but they don't seem to appear on the phone, do i have to convert them? if so, to which type? Thank you in advance!! :D

Hey, I think you should already be aware that Samsung has announced a new phone with same specs as the 903 just a bit smaller hehe!!
I think it will be a real competitor with the 903!!!

Hey Mark: it's cos in Japan they have a full coverage of 3G reception (I think) so in other countries where 3G is still kind of new they dont have a 3G option only. I have the EU 1.046 same as you and i dont have that 3G only option. Thanks

to reno. i dont think that it is possible to remove or change the operator logo with uk version. yes u can change the animation for the power on and power off. u can also change the wallpaper with any pictures u have in ur phone. but i dont think the operator logo can be changed. i tried downloading a blank operator logo as well but i dont think 903's program can do that unlike with other nokia phones.
BTW i got another question. when i had the jap testmode, when i go to CONNECTIVITY then NETWORK SETTINGS then on SELECT SERVICE, i can see three options: auto, 3G, GSM. but when i flashed it to euro now i can only see two options: auto and 3G. is it the same with you guys who has the uk version? can i still access 3g network with that?

hi yahj. go to settings>display settings>system graphics>power on/power off>my pictures(set any or your photos or wallpapers to replace your voda logo). you can do the same with your poer on/off tone.

hello peeps.. just had a question? i master reset my 903 and now my operator logo shows on the screen. does anyone know how to get rid of that again?? i have 903 UK version.. please help.. thanks

Hey timmy, sory i havent replied i will get back to you soon as i have exams right now and magically somehow the problem has actually fixed itself, so i didnt go back to tako, this problem for all others is not just confined to me, its actulaly quite common i found as a result of sudden freezes depending on what you were doing when it froze, just being patient and seemingly redoing this same thing u did when it first freezes will eventually fix the problem by playing with it alittle, its a firmware bug or something thats not just confined to the UK firmware.

Yeah... Nokia SUX, hey Dynamac plz email me, i emaild you, timmyiowen hotmail.com . I dont recomend that unlocked Jap firmware at all, it just sounds like your wap settings are not in correct. You will kick yourself with that Jap firmware, i prefer the Testmode S/W, Timmy

yeah it says live.vodafone.com on a blank page. it does not direct me to my network's homepage. when i still have the japanese testmode, a technician unlocked it and he was able to remove all the vodafone branding on it (as i am not a vodafone subscriber). the power on animation or the power off animation are removed and when i click on the vodafone icon on the idle screen it will direct me to my network's homepage. also the vodafone live icon in the vodafone live menu (not in the idle screen) is also removed. i think he's such a good debrander. the only thing is whenever i hit the end button on the idle screen it will turn off.
now i already flashed it to euro version so it seems like all the default settings came back again and the vodafone live icon in the vodafone menu is already present. but when i click on it, instead of directing me to my networks homepage it will direct me to a blank page with live.vodafone.com written on it. i think it has something to do with that vodafone icon in the vodafone live menu. i think that icon is not a shortcut to the phone's browser but it is a shortcut to vodafone's webpage. maybe it has something to do with debranding the phone as well. i really don't know much about the whole unlocking process or debranding process or how it works. just a bit confused though. any ideas on this would be aprreciated.
anyway i like euro version so far only the bar at the bottom of the wallpaper and the operator logo disturbs me a bit but it's ok. it still spares me from doing a lot of conversion for mp3 playback and ringtone. maybe once i already have a computer that's the time i will go back to jap full unlock version.
