To Ishaun.
Try to use Goldwave or Power MP3 Editor but Goldwave is a lot easier to use. (No need of reconverting to MP3Lame for the Goldwave). You can increase the volume of any of your songs. So far 1GB miniSD card is the maximum size available on the market but I'm sure 903 can handle 2GB.

i just cant wait for the V904SH from Sharp, it will be even more amazing than the 903SH, note to all..... the 904 may have all those faults in the start or may even be unlockable but do buy one.. save it for a rainy day when they find a way to unlock them and you will have yourself a very cool phone, im sure.. if they can do the 903 and make such s good job then i cant see why the 904 will be any less... Hey Alex... i didnt meen it like that.. that Bryann guy really peved me off and i guess i took it out on you sorry. i have worked on about 4 SE phones today (V802SE) and the are just crap beyond belief. I am glad that you like your 903.. just have to remember that unless you have the UK Version V1.046 then you really cant release the full features from the 903. i used the Taiwan SX833 ver on my phone the other day and it was such a joke. The Icons in the menu are all mixed around and it keeps crashing... when trying to read from the memory card it freezes and then re-starts. and T9 randomly comes on lol. 903 UK is by far the best ver of 903 firmware.... sorry if you misunderstand my message, what i mean exactly as you say the se is really not that great, its very unstable etc...i love how the 903 looks and to be honest the reason i bought it was because of the looks and the camera but its quite complicated for newcomer or not techsavvy guys like me to use stuff like videos guess i have to learn, and any assistanse from you guys are much appreciated, sorry if you think im critising the 903 , dont get me wrong - i like it a lot, thats why im going through so much pain for it
but hey imagine it as a cool video game the harder the puzzle the more fun the rewards

Alex: dont come on this forum and inform us about your SE phone... We all know that SE are DOGS of phones. And the Battery life on the 903SH is a hard one.. For a 3G phone i think that it's very good... Look at a W900i..... dont even get a day on 2.5G mode and it's not as good as a 903SH. also Panasonic VS2 and SA6 and all that line has a 16.7Mill Colour LCD therefore it is going to be better than the 262K in a 903 aint it.

I am glad that you wont buy one of these phones... and if you do and you want to know stuff about it.... We, well I wont bother to answer your pathetic questions. Go Reno.... Put him back into his small little world that is proberly filled with Sony Ericssons and Alcatel (Simple Phones for Simple People)

I have a sharp 903SH bought from importgsm.com,it is FANTASTIC
1.Amazing Camera (No one can think of comparing with Other stupid phones)
2.Amazing battery life
3.Awesome looks
4.Screen is huge and good(Though i would say that some other phones in the market have better than this)
5.Too GOOD MUSIC PLayer
6.Have you the clarity of the SD Video?(It ROCKS!)
7.Last but not least Its SHARP!.....

yes i agree its a hassle most of the time unlike my sony ericsson which i can just drag mp3 into and i can assign as much caller tones without any limitations to memory,. but even my sony ericcson have problem it freezes sometimes , no reception, and camera is now dead
why i go through all this problem for the phone, so much pain....well
its a damm cool looking phone!!

Everyone is etitled to post his opinion, either to say a good or a bad thing about the phone. I have a sharp 903 and i can say that although is has some impressive features it has some strong drawbacks as well. The sound volume is very low, the battery is not that great, the display is not as bright as a panasonic vs6 for example, vodafone locked some features that you can overpast with some work but some like changing themes you can't, and it is quite big. It is big but you have a 3.2 megapixel camera phone which is also 3G with another camera inside. And in my opinion the fact that it has a 3.2 camera and that is so well constructed( not a plastic toy like sony ericsson phones) it makes it one of the best phone in the market. If you want a phone with these 2 features then sharp 903 is your phone. Everything else you can have in many other phones.

I am from the UK and I use a 903 UK version and I have no problems. Problems would arise if I buy a 903 Jap version and use it in the UK or in other places. But why even with so many difficulties peolpe still buy this bloody 903 when they know it has got a lot of problems and the price is soooo rediculous? Any ideas brynn? The answer is very clear for us 903 users but for ignorant people like brynn they will always be asking themselves the same question...WHY BOTHER?

I challenge you if you are a MAN of your words. I'll prove to you that no phone right now can come close to 903's awesome features. Show me any phone that you say people are enjoying and we will compare them to my 903 if they have what 903 can offer. Any place...any amount.
And to GSMArena. I know everybody is entitled to their own opinion but you should be sensitive and fair in allowing posts like brynn's whose sole purpose is to malign prospective buyers' minds. He's not even an owner of a decent phone.

It is really unfair to make a sour comment on a phone when you don't own it. U r absolutely right 903's price is ridiculously high but do you realize why? Maybe voda company is just so stupid to put such high price on a "rudy pain" phone. Who are enjoying their phone? Well I enjoy mine very well and it is the envy of many. Do you enjoy your phone yourself Brynn? This phone is not for people like you who is totally IGNORANT of its functions and features basing your opinions just by reading other users'difficulty using the phone on the wrong place. Why bother post an opinion here when you got no knowledge of this phone at all? You just can't afford this phone and you don't bother because you enjoy things that come easy. Other phone users don't have complaints and rudy pain because their phones are made for simple people like you brynn. So simple you don't have to use your small brain to use it.

convert this to that and then convert it to this ,,,why do you bother,,no other people are putting up with all this parping about on other forums..The phone is a rudy pain and the price of it is ridiculous for something that you cant even enjoy..None of you are because your on this forum all the time asking about ringtones and video probs and then the usual blokes come on with a list of garbage to get your phone doing what you paid hundreds of pounds for to do what it should do in the rudy first place!!!!I AM RIGHT!!!WHY DO YOU BOTHER WHEN OTHER PEOPLE ARE ENJOYING THIER FONES AND YOUR NOT.Would you buy a tele that had to be set up all the time through a massive list of converters just so you can watch it???I think if a survey was done and thousands were given this fone for a week nearly all of them would give up..There will be the usual backlash for this statement about its an expensive fone and youve got to have knowledge to use it and so on blah blah but its true your just to thick to seeit its you whos blind to it all.Hell for that price it should come with absolutely everything to make it work. from__someone in the real world

Hi alex.
Try format the memory card by your phone. Connectivity>Memory Card>Format Card. The file should be in Entertainment>TV & Video>SD_Video and not on the Video subfolder on My Items Directory. If these don't work you might need to do the process of converting yourself. Don't worry it's complicated but easy. Good luck.

Hi, Can someone help me for configuring my 3G and MMS on my sharp!!
I've been trying to get it configured by our local mobile network provider but they say because it have been locked by vodafone it won't work!!! They gave me all the config.. but i'm having this error connection lost with server... please hep me!!!

thanks for your help!i now even master putting in a few caller tones by remasking them, with video i created a sd video folder and what i did i downloaded a mol1.asf file from the borman guy , but i when i try to play it , it doesnt appear on my phone?i didnt do anything else but just try out borman file to see it work , do i have to do something else before that?considering i downloaded a converted file from that website?
