only uk version can receive mms.... (this applies in singapore) not sure in your country

I am having trouble receiving mms messages as they dont come through at all. I can however send them.

Hi Miffy. I'm glad that u r finally getting along very well with things. About games, there's nowhere we can get them free at the moment. I have search many wap sites and most are not for 903, even for paid download. Commanderspike also sell a pack of 10 games on ebayuk with reasonable price and there's one program called HUGE who has more on the package but haven't tried them yet. Games on 903 would be more exciting as it has clearest display of all mobiles right now.

Thanks. I d/l dpoweramp, and converted mp3 to mp3 lame, and convert them to smaller file, and i can play them as ringtone now too. I'm waiting to get my video program from commanderspike so i can enjoy videos on my phone too. ANy more exciting things with this phone that you can share with me? Any good resource for java games?

There are Mp3s that don't play as they are for some reason I don't know. When I convert them to MP3 Lame, they play. It's my experience.

Hi Mike. When u d/l dbpoweramp it has MP3(Lame) and Wave already. If u want AAC codec, u can d/l it from the dbpoweramp website(Illustrate). It's very easy to use. Once it is on ur computer, u will find its icon wherever your mp3 song is by just right clicking on the song, then the program window appears. Just select the MP3 Lame on the box with downarrow at the end and click convert. u have to explore and play with it to familiarize urself.

So many thanks. There are so many things in dpoweramp. Which and what should I be d/l? Timmy was teaching us how to convert mp3 from this to that so that we can use it as ringtone. I find it complicated b/c there are 4 programs that we have to d/l? one last question. Mp3 to Mp3 (lame)??

Hi Sanjeev. See its "backlight" setting on the Settings menu. It might be OFF. The keypad light should light along with the display otherwise something is wrong with the firmware.

Hi Mike. U can take Timmy's advice as he had a very good experience on ur probs. It seems it is the only way so go for it but let someone who has a good knowledge do it to be safe. As I know all versions of 903 support MP3 playback. Have u tried converting to AAC? Sorry, I really wish I could help.

Hey Reno, or anyone that knows..
I wanna flash my firmware to UK version so I can play the mp3 ringtones..HOW CAN I DO THIS??? I've left my e-mail address so anyone that knows can do a runthrough. i really want mp3 ringtones!!! but regarding the flash...are there risks? what precautions should I take? lemme know please!! someone e-mail me!! =p

You won't regret buying that video converter from commanderspike. It's cool to watch dvds and music videos on a mobile phone especially in full screen, very clear,less drag and very less audio distortion.
