Nokia N90 screen has more screen pixels ? So what?! More pixels on screen do not count for photo quality. Also, don't you guys know that 2 megapixels is not really enough to print 4x6 photos? If it was enough, then Kodak and Canon would continue produce 2mp cameras, but they don't . Yet they released new models of 3mp cameras this year! (Yes, Kodak and Canon!)

Secondly:
-Nokia does not have even 2x optical zoom!
-Neither it has any vibration!
-Neither the so-called Carl zeiss photo quality is superious to Shneider lens or Leica lens! (Read professional photography websites for more knowledge on cameras optics, and not cell phone websites, LOL).
-Finaly N90 price is rediculous!

Conclusion:
If you are looking for the best camera phone than buy Sharp 903!
If you are looking the best cellular phone but without digital camera than buy Normal and best Nokia phones which is either: 6170 or 5140i (not to mention they have Vibrator, lol)

Is that clear enough?

    To wait indeed...

I come to realise that waiting is always a good idea in this business. I think that I got to wait only a couple months just so the next two models are out and the n90 has lowered there price..

I still like it better then the 903, but we'll see huh..

Hi guys! I'm buying this phone 15th of December from Japan. Mind listing down the differences between Japanese and other versions? Would I be able to play MP3 files without DRM? How bout use them as ringtones?

      Thanks in advance!

Oh yeah, should I get black or white? I'm not into red so there :P

Buying a phone is just like marrying a woman...or a man. Let me put it like the song..."it is sad to belong to someone else when the right one comes along"... Am I right Timmy??? Hello???

          P.S.

Wait till N91 will come out how N90 will look like. It will just be on the shelves to fill them.

            To Jon

I just wanna give u an honest advice. Don't buy any of these phones yet. Try to compare them in reality based on what u really like on a phone. N90 has more resolution but see how the photo will appear in reality in full screen(colour depth and sharpness, or is it really in full screen?). Regarding software, well, Nokia stands-out on the subject but see those pluses if they really are important to you. Sharp competes with other brands and usually better than the previous models with regards to features and quality of the product. But Nokia competes with other brands and also with its own models as well. You see they have 6630, 6680, N70, N90 almost at the same time with almost the same features and have earned a lot of criticisms on most important and basic feature...picture quality. Nobody has criticised Sharp 903 or 902 on this. And I can boast that even my wife's GX30i 1MP pictures, and sound(with my favorite Yellow Polka-dot Bikini ringtone) is much much better than 6680, and N70. If ever u choose N90 never look at any Sharp 903 anymore...and vice-versa. Good luck.

Well I just went to a phoneshop to ask for info about comparison between this phone(903) and the nokia n90.

I'm a bit on a dilemma now. The n90 has a higher resolution and has autofocus, more intern memorie(so faster to start and shut off?) It's design is better (own opinion I think it is thrillin' beauty).

But it's more expensive, its not (yet) accomodated for umts(in the Netherlands)and the difference between 2mp and 3.2mp is probably also notisable. Altho' the n90 lens is (more durable?) and maybe better for video?

All I want is a display very sharp (resolution and colour), the video very sharp (less disturbtion with movements) and the software use, to be very easy.. But on this moment the choice between these two phones is unclear and I haven't seen any comparison between the two (altho there the best I can get)

                Hi Timmy

I timed mine turning off at exactly 20 secs and turning on at 15 secs including keying in my 4-nos handset code with my full 1GB mem card. I think it's on the phone's memory as I moved most of my photos and MP3s to the mem card and just left those I used for wallpaper and ringtones on the phone mem. And I don't have much contacts stored as well. It's worth a try.

Hi renno, i timed my phone turning off from the Vodafone 3G logo and when it goes fully off, it took 62 Secs with no memory card in the phone. but i still think this is the most awesome phone in the world!!

If u wanna play (awsome)videos on this fone, u can find what u r looking for in eBayUK. Type sharp 903 on search box and look for the item of commanderspike (and not the "other guy"). He'll send u a CD program complete with other utilities and instructions. Mediastage(not Moviestage) needs 3 more programs to run DVD on 903. This one really works!!! In fact I'm already enjoying loads of music videos and DVD movies on my 903. U can convert Friends movie clips to DVD then reconvert them to ASF for 903. It's fantastic for a phone. Very clear resolution. Good luck. It's not cheap and it's not easy(at first)but it's AWSOME!!!

                          @ singa,

sorry 4 e late reply. s'pore dun carry sharp fone so it's no way we can own tis precious at any official major store unexcept couple of those private ones. of course u can trade-in ur used fone 4 tis precious if u wish 2. no chance @ m1, singtel n starhub. though it's a full unlocked set. i confirm it's built-in radio, mms n gprs etc r not working in local becos our it's technically not supported by our local network providers. so... in my opinion, it's not worth n practical 2 hold e precious in s'pore since we cun make use of some of e useful functions locally despite its great specs.

Put it this way if you carry your phone and your digital camera around with you all the time the surface area and weight is going to be more than this phone anyway. So why not have an all-in-one phone and camera with 2x optical and 24x digital zoom damn it!! This is my absolutely dream phone currently using a gx30 and I cant for this one!

Well... i think I just found my soulmate.
This phone seems to be too close to perfection. It's just awesome, the features, te looks, unbelievable. Well, I'll have to admit I don't like it in red, but have seen it in black and... WOW!!!!!!!!
Never tried one though, so I won't give any unfounded opinion on peformance and such (as a lot of people seem to do), but I know I will once I get my hands on one of these beauties...

Hi Timmy. The more files stored on ur memory the longer it takes to turn off/on. Mine turns off in about 10 secs.
