thanks timmy.i downloaded the tbpowerap converter with the mp4 codec and it works i have music to my phone finally.
can anyone pls knows where i can download any games to my phone?????
when i bought it it had three trial games to play only for 60 sec. that really sucks from vodafone. sharp903 is the best phone and vodafone ruins the whole fun of it!!

    Hi oshin. It's easier to download MP3 ringtones and videos to the phone if u have the right s/w and h/w. You just have to read few pages back on this forum to guide you. There are a lot of Remote Unlocking websites over the internet with different offers and ways. Some of them will ask your phone to be sent to them by post and send you back once job is done. Try www.jbenchmark.com for some games. Another guy was able to download games from this site. I haven't tried as I am not for games. I always enjoy videos and music on my 903. Good luck.

      Hi Oshin. I have tried the wapsite u mentioned. J2ME is a new system for few mobile phones and PDA. Unfortunately this won't work with 903. Try another wapsites. there are a lot around. All the best.

        by the way everyone, you can flash your phone into any model you want with a device called USB Smart. or just send your phone to a mobile repair company and ask them for your firmware in your phone to be flashed into another version. I have the Red 903SH and it was in japanese tesmode. This version is CRAP!! SX833 or 903 (euro) is by far the best!!!! I had my japanese phone flashed to euro and it's great!! But in NZ we only suport 903 so it was the right thing to do.

          Jon: What version of the 903 do you have?? there is quite alot, SX833 903 V903 V903SH and 903SH. SX833 is fully unlocked in English and chinese and 903 is full unlocked english?? SX833 and 903 will let you use MP3's and data transfer. it sounds like you have 903Sh which is the japanese version. if you do you have to convert your mp3's to MP4 with www.dppoweramp.com and download the mp4 codec. then you use a card reader to coppy and paste the files into the sounds and ringtones folder on the miniSD, easy easy!!

            Hi Oshin. Your phone probbly is locked to vidafone network. Even though the phone is Java enabled you can't download anything other than vodafone live! wapsite.

              Hi Reo thanks for your help.I would like to ask you also another thing please.I am not able to download java softwares to my phone.
              There is a web site wap.GetJar.com where there are softwares for java (j2me) phones that you can directly download softwares from wap but when download completes the phone automaticly re starts but the software is never installed on phone.Do you know what can I do please?

                hello there, i just got my sharp 903sh. am trying to play my mp3 songs but it saying that "item cannot be opened"?? whats dat suppose to be?? pls help, wat do i need 2 do in order to use my mp3 player and mp3 ringtones...thanks!

                  i just got this phone and i have a question...when i put mp3's on my phone, it plays them aiight, but when i try to set them as ringtones, it says "cannot play due to illlegal file"...can someone tell me what i can do to get my mp3's be able to be set as a ringtone???

                    i hav a 903 the camara and video quality is the best out .but the mp3 player when played out aloud is not wery loud and when u add stuff to the mini sd card it only play stuff off card when it wants to. which is hardly never it just aint my 903 ether is happends to every one

                      Please someone can help me with my sharp 903 and give any advice :
                      1. I transfer an mp3 song and although the phone recognize it as mp3, it does not play it.
                      2. I cant transfer a song from my pc via bluetooth to the phone it just cancels the transfer.
                      3. I send a flash game to the phone via bluetooth but it want play it. only flash video and that with no sound.
                      4. Is there a usb data cable available yet for sharp 903?????
                      5. How can unlock the phone from vodafone and not only the sim but also to make it able to receive mp3s and games not only from vodafone live????

                          Hi Timmy.
                          I mean that guy from Holland(Jon). Buying something(903)while he loves N90 because of convenience(cheap price). It's like making love with "903" but thinking about "N90". Do you know what I mean? But I didn't mean N90 is "the right one" becoz it's crap. That Jon said 903's screen quality is not good when he doesn't own a N90 and hasn't used it fully. Can you believe that???!!! N90 users would never ever have the video quality of 903 as they have the Symbian OS which is crap as well.

                            Hey Reno: whats that about being married to someone alse and then someone better comes along??
                            The other day i brought a Sony Ericsson V800. it has good sound but everything alse isnt as good as 903. but V800 is still ok. V800 has better battery life!!
                            The only good thing about Nokia N90 is it has an outside LCD. the think i hate most of all it Symbian!!!!! i would never never buy a phone with a 3rd party operating system on it!
                            Dont diss the red one!!!!! I have it and it's cool as!! And i think white is better than the black ( sorry reno it's all the same on the inside hehehe )

                              For Java games, they are downloadable from some WAPsites using your webbrowser(server) of your service provider. Ask your ISP about the settings or browse the internet.

                                Hi Oshin. The highest sound level is 5-on Settings>Sound settings>General Volume. During MP3 playback, press Option>Tone Control>Bass. Surround bass sound is scattered(3D)around so it's softer. Don't expect louder sounds if you are outdoor. Use your headset for best sounds.

                                  Hi everybody
                                  When I listen to music directly from my phone the sound is not laud enough.Does any body know how can I set up to a louder level please.Another my question is that dou you know how can install java platform softwares to the phone?When I download the phone automaticly restarts but when ı check the software is never installed on phone.Thank you

                                      I am not against N90 but it was announced to come out in Aug 05. It's end of the year now and I haven't seen it yet. Carphonewarehouse stopped printing its picture on their magazine. I'm sure there's something wrong with it. Or like the other guy said...it's a crap.

                                        The 903sh has autofocus as well, I use it everytime I take a photo. Sharp usually has the best screens. Did you actually see the 903sh and actually hold it? Before I got mine, I knew the basics of what it can do, then actually hold the phone in my hand, and my decision was made already. The phone itself looks a lot better than in the pictures.
