I got the Japan version and both sending and receiving works for mine. I'm on Rogers, by the way. As for the light, I don't know. The fully unlock, I heard it's $60. I;m satisfied with my phone now and don't plan to pay $60, $30 seems more reasonable, so I'll wait then, hope that helps, cheers!

there is a review by mobileburn stating tat it takes 5 sec to save a pic (highest resolution best quality)

mmm does this phone takes a long time to take a picuter?? im mean to save it and stuff? and do you have to hold the phone in place for a long time so the picture wouldnt smudge? cus Vodafone is launching 3G in Australia soon so im thinking about this phone... looks sooooo good.....

Ya sheikh nadir. The number of MP will answer ur question and not to mention the size of 903's screen. For me it's a(red) ferrari against a mini cooper.

I just received my phone and it works well with Fido here in Canada. I have no idea what version I have though, but I suspect it's japanese as it's the language it was set to when I first turned on the phone. I also suspect it's not fully unlocked but is beta unlocked. Is this why I can send SMS messages but not receive any? Is this also why no light is blinking to tell me that I have a new message in my voicemail? In other words, should I get it fully unlocked and can it be done over the Internet or do I need to ship it (and where can it be done?). Thanks!

Both MP3 and AAC/AAC+ songs could be used as ringtones. But should be less than 3MB. It is playable for 2 minutes before it gets cut off. I have Selena's Si Una Vez as ringtone. I like the fanfare-like intro. Like Matador waiting for the bull's attack.

Hi...i hear lots of people talking about different versions of the software....i have seen it talked about in plemix is this phone safe to order or is this one got the problems...sorry to ask again but icant see it being answered...grateful for ya help!!

and in 2 weeks i'll be at the MBK at Bangkok.
Does anyone know the prices of the 903 there?
And what version is it ? is it the normal v?
If you have any other comment about it,

Yes it has video streaming on Vodafone Live! and 3G price plans. I'm not sure if it is possible on PAYG.

To Simon. The light will blink if u have a miss call, text, MMS, or email msg and the colour will depend upon how u preset them. There r 7 different colours. It has a TV cable and u can connect the fone directly to TV. The resolution though is not very clear but it's not too bad. U can c it in med or full screen. Sorry but I'm talking about the UK version.

to simson: You can see the status light :) you set the status light colour for missed call, message...etc. But if your phone is in test mode japanese version, status light will not work :) Anyway, dun worry, fully unlocked is now available, soon will release at your location :D enjoy your pretty 903 ;))

Hi, is there any way to tell if you have received a text or missed a call without having to open the phone? Is there an external alert light/ screen? Has it got TV output to link to a TV?

Hello Everyone,
I have been reading these forums fo about 2 weeks now, and I made a decision about buying this phone. The only problem is that I from Hungary, and this phone is not yet avaible here. I know that I have to choose the UK version, if I do not want any trouble with the phone. I read that there are many ways of getting this phone throught the Internet, but I still cannot put my finger on any of them. May I ask you to help me, in telling me the best way to get this phone from?

Timmy. My 903 is black and it is real beauty as everybody tells. I can't find anywhere if it is 903v or what. It just says Sharp 903SH. There's the Master Reset but I don't think I would need to do that as this phone-to me-is perfectly alright. It does all what is written about it without limitations. It's so easy to use. If u would have the english version firmware put on ur fone I don't think u would be posting very often on this forum anymore. Well, maybe to give us more advice. I would spend that $140 for this kind of fone to be honest. I have mastered converting dvds and music videos and it is really enjoyable. Im not very fond of games but that's my next project...how to download java games from "somewhere" 4 free. Can anybody help us? Good luck Timmy! Go 4 it.

To Reno: what colour is your 903?? and is it Sharp 903v?? I am sending my phone away next week to have the english firmware put onto it, it's costing me $140.00incl shipping to Hk and back, this will now be fully unlocked!! I can't wait. I have also heard that sharp 903v can't be master reset of it will not accept folders in the memory card?? I don't know for sure about this though. thanks!
