Hi, the SX833 is really not to good is it!! MP3 no go, only in red not black, white and red, also i have heard that when the SX833 is unlocked it has majour problems, power button only needs to be taped and it instantly powers of the phone, you cant restore factory settings as it blocks the data folder and when you turn the phone off it automaticly enters silent mode and you have to change it back. This isn't a fault of sharp it was the reaction of the unlocking methord i have been told. Otherwise this phone is soooo cool but im staying with my trusty samsung Z500 that has not let me down!! Touch wood (my hand on my head)lol until this phone SX833 is fixed, Sharp V903SH is all good thou.

As far as I know Voda AU is planning to release this phone when 3G is launched later this month. I've seen some of the guys from Voda HO using a live handset that looks exactly like this so I'm assuming that it will be available for the public launch.

not sure if this has been posted before, as indicated here, https://www.vodafone.jp/scripts/japanese/online_shop/ranking/list.jsp?cc_9137=, Japan Vodafone has stopped selling all 903 and 703 models. So even if there is a second shippment coming out, they may be even harder to unlock. So I don't know, what do you guys think? As much as I love this phone, but with all the problems we all see here, perhaps I should look into Panasonic VS7 or MX7....

sharp is only sold through smartone-vodafone in hong kong and only has red atm. they will probably come out with black as a special edition. also, not fully unlocked yet...waiting for it to be fully unlocked before i buy.

I just got the phone today and it's really great...YES, you can listen mp3 on your phone.do you have sd card reader ? then using itunes to convert your mp3 fils to ACC files.After that,you copy all acc files to your mini sd card.

Im not sure if the hongkong 903 is unlocked so i guess you're right. But i was pretty sure that sx833 only comes in 1 color... oh well

it was a roumor that HK sharp 903s are unlocked but they are locked and they have three colors too, black, white and red.

I thought HK has 100% unlocked sharp b/c Sharp 903sh is known there as sx833. They are virtually the same phone just that sx833 has a few less features. Sharp sx833 only comes in Red.

my sharp is not 100% unlocked but i just found out yesterday that the 100% solution is out in HongKong and that's why the vodaphone stopped storing sharp 903s anymore. this solution will be here in the US by next week. mine is beta unlocked for now. i will post some real pictures with all other phone reviews and here is the proof of the price for sharp 903sh which is $470.

The current price for Sharp 903sh is $470 including shipping to the U.S. That is the cheapest price on the internet. there is only one seller who is selling on ebay for $450 + $20 shipping. i bought one from her and the seller is really nice and cooperative. she has a shop in HongKong. just check on ebay for the opportunity.

u may be interested in buying a 3.5mm headset adapter for ur sharp 903sh, 902sh, 802sh or 703sh but there is no information where to get those adpaters. here is the picture of the adapter and they come in white, orange, black and green colors. one costs about $12. picture link is below.

For those of you who ask, I have not left feedback yet because I want to verfiy that indeed there are no issues! I will leave feedback in a few days! Ebay User ID is Headbub!
As for is it the 903 or 903sh, I asked plemix.com and all he said was that is was factory unlocked! It is the sharp 903sh because it says it on the box. What I cannot figure out is how they have it 100% unlocked because based on all my research, the 903sh only comes in a "beta" unlock! Maybe someone out there knows something that we dont! I have no idea! If anyone finds out let me know

Sorry to bug you again, I know people have already asked if this Unlocking mechanism by x1387 is the Test-Mode, or is it bugless, but I would still like to know also...
To Others:
If anyone has perchased the sharp 903 from plemix.com or any other online retailers, please tell me if their unlocking mechanism is the Test-Mode.
