Sharp 902 price will dropp down, just give it a time ( Plemix or Starlin must sell the old stocked 902 for the same price, otherwise they loose money)

IF SHARP 903 won't have software problems like 902 did, then 903 will be definitely a phone of the year! Lets hope it will become a reality!

ONES AGAIN. www.mobileburn.com has an excellent review of Sharp 903 ( very honest review, anyone can see!). They give a review of every brand equally without prejustice.

Hey Kshin, the reason why x1387 didn't sell 903sh's was because they went out of stock, and I guess they recent came back in stock. Just to let you know, x1387 is Plemix's ebay account.

I just got an notification email today, saying that the 903's are back in stock at a lower price. ($482) If anyone decides to purchase it from there, post your results.

          NEW PRICE on 903 is $480 at plemix.com and $500 at starlinwireless.com
          GO SHARP!
Bring the overpriced, gimmick Carl Zeiss Nokia N90 to its end!

Why there is still no review for Sharp 903?!
Why we mostly seeing reviews of either ridiculous Sony Toy-Phones, or of worsest Nokia models?

It is time to be fair now:
We demand a reviews for Sharp 903!
          REASONS:
          -Looks like a phone
-The closest phone to replace a basic 3mp digital camera
-Looks like a phohe ( mature and solid)
-I also know 100% that all new Sharp phones have a very good earpiece sound quality ( that's what every phone must have before bluetooth, games and other crap!)

Yeah, I saw 903SH also available in www.plemix.com too. Also stated "factory unlocked". But I still don't really understand, since EVERYONE said, 903 ONLY unlocked with "test mode". Even Japan has stop stocking the phone to prevent ppl unlocking, so how can there be factory unlocked? Can anyone plz check the detail can tell me?

Thanks for the site Guessboy. If anyone bought phones from Starlin, post your opinions about them, and if you bought the 903's from them, let us know if the function works great, or alot of bugs, etc.

                      @ Open Minded
                      Also...

Have you got any idea about how a phone is built? You know you just can't cram a sensor in there... It's a bit more complicated than that.

If you'd have a look at the optics of the 902 and 903 then you'd understand how advanced things are getting. If you would understand Marketing and Needs, then you'd know this one word:

                      Convenience

It is convenient to have a camera & MP3 player, a phone, internet and gaming, and PDA...

                      in ONE.

That's why they keep on building these phones, improving the quality until it can't be distinguished from competitors any longer.

It's not really expensive to build phones like these, you're right. But it's exclusive at this stage and that's why it is overpriced. SHARP is the first international mobile phone manufacturer that can claim to have an in-built optical soom. THAT IS EXCLUSIVE... and you're not allowed to touch one. Just go and buy a PANASONIC, suit's you better ;)

                        LOL @ Open-Minded

you are just so jealous that you can't afford this phone. If a panasonic would have miniSD, an MP3 player and bluetooth it would cost just as much as any other high-end phone.
                        Uhmm...unfortunatelly PANA doesn't possess such features...and...that's why it's cheap ;)

You just don't want to think to hard about this, am I right?

You're hilarious..."real" optical zoom. Either it is optical or its not. It's got to do with lense movement, either they move or they don't.
Where do you draw the line, big commercial film cameras? Size doesn't matter.

Seriously, you will so have one of these in the future. I used to be the same, if I couldn't afford it then I'd make it look stupid and useless.
Buy a Panasonic, do us the favour and then be happy!

Buy yourself a real camera and leave those alone who see a bit further in terms of technology. This is the way to go!

to Open-Minded .... first of all ... an advice... change ur nickname to CLOSE-MINDED

man !!!! whats wrong with u ?????? ofcourse phone with a camera will never replace a real camera for proffesional use and ofcourse a phone like this wont replace the ipod and ofcourse it wont replace any portable DVD player ........

but let me explain to u the " technology" .... with this phone u have a pretty decent phone performacin wise + a pretty damn good camera with a great video recorder and a pretty damn good mp3 player and also with its screen and power a pretty fantastic video player ofcourse + a small simple PDA and organizer and a 3G support ........ thats technology man !!!!!

ur kind of ppl should look for ipod + digital camera + pda + cd\dvd player + a phone like 3310 or something ...... and get urself a bag to carry all that ! and it will cost u 5 times more than this one

and when u r at work or in the bus ... someone beside u will be listinning to music \recieving phone calls \ and taking picture with the same device ....

                          cheeeeeers Mr. close-mided

I just bought the phone from Plemix.com. First, Plemix has bad service they charged twice for the phone on my card.
Second, since the phone is so new no software is available. Because the phone has many bugs...you get a call then it hangs up then the whole screen resets by itself.

I may be getting a 903 but if the thickness is on a slant (width) is some of it thinner than 29mm? I'm concerned about it being really big at the moment I currently have a GX20 but am definitely upgrading to something, advice anyone?

                                      Hi there everybody,

Within 3 months I'm switching from provider and phone. Currently I've got the Samsung A800. A few weeks ago I saw an article in my TV-magazine about the SHARP 903. !!! I wanted that phone !!!
Right now, I'm reading all these opinions and I can't find any positive one. What about this phone? I only would like to use it for: Calling, messaging, taking pictures and films....... Will I make a good choice by choosing the SHARP 903?????

                                      Greetz

Hello guys I am from Spain, I have a few questions about my 902.1st:Why I can open images bigger than 300kb with the image editor?? 2nd:Why the phone asks me averytime I do a bluetooth trnasfer the phone code? This can't be turned off in some way?
It is an amazing phone, but with some annoying things like no multitasking and no mp3 ringtones(thanks to vodafone) Thank you
