After having the phone for a week, the sharp is great. the only weird thing is when you take a picture at max resolution it takes 20 sec when the flip is up,and only 4 sec whe it closed to save a picture.so it is better to take pics with the flip down.the speakers are cool but not so loud,NO RAIDIO like some people say, overall this phone is till now the best i have seen, and of course MADE IN JAPAN!!!!!

...this is so called QR (quick response)-code:
It's one kind of a square-code (2D) developed by a japanese company. It can contain (encoded) diff. stuff: such as small graphics, ringtones, download-links,... Mainly in Japan you can find it on leaflets, mags, newspages,... and it's said to be a big hit there ! However, it saves time as long as you are a bit experienced in scanning such small QR-codes-"pics" ! Sometimes it needs several scan-trials, but generally Sharp's integr. OCR-scanner works well ! This scanner you can also use to scan "ordinary" barcodes or even create your own QR-code, by entering eg. text, which is than converted to QR-code and saved as .png-file; you can send this encoded file (as MMS) to other Sharp users, which can than decode back to text again ! What you can also do is scanning normal text from any source - each 1 line only, which you can choise from the scan-result in the phones macro-mode.

Wow the pictures on bucky's link are amazing for a digital camera, let alone a phone. If you look at the one with the moving cars there's no blurring at all.

Anyone have any idea whether the 903 supports concatenated sms - it's one nokia feature i'm a huge fan of. Otherwise the 903 seems pretty impressive, camera and particularly the screen are quite amazing. One other thing - anybody have any comments regarding texting on the phone - pretty much my main use - have been spoilt by successive nokia's speed and ease. Slightly concerned Sharp not so straightforward or enjoyable.

All advice gratefully received. Thanks. Xiablo.
