To LULU:
You are comparing three totally different things here:
1. Picture Quality
2. Screen Quality
3. Network Performance
A picture will only look as good as the camera can capture it. The 903 is SUPERB quality.
A picture will only look as good as the SCREEN can reproduce it. The Nokia screens are not as bright as the V903's.
Network performance does NOT have an impact on quality of a picture. If you capture an image at the resolution of 320 x 240 it'll be perfect to send to any phone on any Network.
And yes, the 903 will be a good choice I believe!

I'm researching different phones for my boss. He wants to know how to get the best picture quality via MMS. He has the Nokia 6170 at the moment. He is interested in the Nokia 8800, the Nokia N90, the Sharp 903 and the Samsung D500. I need some way of comparing the picture quality post MMS sending. ie If he send a pic from Sharp 903 to Sharp 903 using Vodafone MMS quality will be .....yet if he sent Nokia N90 to Sharp 903 via Orange network quality would be....needs to be a figure rather than a description i.e. better or worse. Please help.....x

Hi Bucky, are you saying your phone is an English version? Do they sell non-Japanese versions in Japan too?

I got a 903SH (Japanese version of Sharp 903) last week and I taken pictures with it.
Quality of its 3.2MP camera is great. It's far better than 902SH.
I uploaded pictures on my web album. Please see it if you know more about its quality.

I work for Voda Australia. We launch 3G in October in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and major airports including Brisbane. Other places will rollout throughout 2006. And yes we are going to be ranging the Sharp 903. I'll be upgrading to it from my Sharp GX30 for sure :)
Also, the person who was asking about GPRS, I would contact Voda data support on 1300301030.

i just got a 903 this morning. presently living in japan, i bought a 902 when i got here a couple of months ago, it kept on stuffing up, ended up losing all my data so i went and complained to vodafone insisting they upgrade me to the 903. it really is a beautiful mobile phone. the buttons are much nicer on your fingers, its alot faster than the 902 and they seem to have ironed out all of the little anoying niggely bits the 902 suffered from. im from australia too. minimalman, do you think its possible for this phone to be unlocked and used in australia with a local service there???

When does Vodafone 3G Australia finally roll out? I spoke to Vodafone last week regarding my V802 and GPRS, and they insisted it would be available in Wollongong late August.
Some sources say it's October for Sydney, Melbourne & Canberra....
Anything definate? Also, if there are VF people here, can you tell me why I can't use GPRS on the V802/902? Do I need the actual USIM?
cheers,

Hi First Mobile, are you sure it won't be released in NZ? How about in the near future? Perhaps I should get my friend in Japan to get one for me. I wonder if you can change the language to English.

Australia won't have this phone at this stage because the 3G network is not up yet. New Zealand might see it first as 3G is up and running here.
