I must say i was very disapointed about this phone, i have always been using Siemens phones, but this is by for most the worst one I have had!

Ok the design is great, and it has a good calender funktion and so on, but the screenresolution is not the best and the worst think is the plastic feel of the phone and the buttons to write messenges is really bad to, not to speak of the software wich is the slowest I have ever incountered on a Siemens phone, Text-messenges lack, menues lack, and and software upgrade has not helped, this phone is soon sold, and I am going for a Nokia, but are looking forward to the SX65 :)

Hi everyone! M55 is a very good phone... I was looking for such MP for a very long time and it really satisfies me and, trust me, it's not so easy. However there're some drawback. For example screen resolution (101x80 pixels) is very low! As a Java Programmer i'm having problems fitting all my graphic stuff (for example for games) in that display. However Java in a MP is very usefull. I'm writing many applications for my M55 so it's really unique! ... let's talk about connectivity... IRDA would have been very good... however (I think) with a data cable you can achieve the same results. But it's too expensive!!! I prefer to use e-mail with attachment. Very usefull! you can send averything (

                            Hi,
I bought this phone last week. I must say its a excellent phone with lot all latest features and the connectivity with PC is easy u can sycronize all things in phone with ure PC. I think if u have a Data Cable of that M55,C55,C55 than there is no need of Irda & Bluetooth. Once again i must say its a very good phone with Powerfull Address Book and Organizar , 1.8 MB Shared Memory , GPRS , WAP 1.2 (Parts of 2.0) , E-Mail with attachments , MIDP Java 1.0 Compatible , PC Sync , and the best thing is the File System u can do anything with file system like a Floopy Disk or a CD.
Best Phone u must buy it.

Me and a friend also got this phone but we're very disappointed about its stand-by time. It lasts for about 60 hours, including roughly 30 minutes of conversation and 20 SMS messages. These batteries are made in China. Can anyone else confirm this? I live in Romania and I would appreciate some input from people abroad. Thanks!

great phone!!!!!!!! I just have to figure out how to enter these symbols for free ringtones...for instance: what does G2(1/16) mean? does it mean that I have to press G and 2 buttons for 16 times or what? don't find me stupid, please, I am simply not a mobile phone expert and am seeking a help...thanks in advance

I have been using M55 for a month now and I definitely think that it is a very good an reliable phone. Nothing more that a person can have from a phone in this category is missing. You are offered a small and stylish handset with an easy to learn menu and many new up tp date functions like MMS and GPRS!

Super phone, gr8 phone, it is better than Samsung E-700 in Connect's top !!! The only problem: no bluetooth, but a lot of others options, like client e-mail, and 500 x 14 entries in phonebook !!!
