Yea...the Backlight is Blue and even it seldom restarts it'self.Feels much better quality then N6600 more compact then the N6600.Its a Nice Phone.

This cell phone have many important topics. One of the most, I say it in the name of brazilian people, is the camera´s resoluction: a little low. If this topic can be resolved we could sale more Siemens cell phones... Thanks...

I currently have a SX1, but i am gonna go for the SE S700i when it comes out cause of it's super cam(Its CCD the best Camera Lens for phones even for digital cams, about time for japan to share)However i am not gonna sell the SX1 as it is a Unique Mobile(1 of a Kind)

I recently had the pleasure of experimenting with a friend of mines Siemens SX1. I have to say that although the keypad isn't the greatest design, it doesn't matter because this phone is AMAZING! The features totally make up for it, the keypad is not as bad once you learn how to use it. And its not like it ruins the phones appearance, the phone is actually very stylish, but its difficult to work your fingers around the keypad. I now want one of these and didn't want to give it back. The MP3 player is great my friend has stereo headphones and the sound quality is just like listening to a personal stereo. If you had one of these you wouldn't have to bring your bulky personal CD player with you to class, you can listen to your mobile MP3 during boring lectures while it is in your pocket. Thats not all, the camera is great, texting is fab, Voice dialling and bluetooth are excellent. This phone has too many features to list here. Trust me though, you will not regret buying this phone. I think I will buy one of these as my next phone. Highly recommended!!

After using SX-1 for about 3 months.. I'm very satisfied with this phone. Here's the pros on this phone
1. Stereo radio/mp3 playback
2. Wav/MMF/Midi ringtone support( Either from MMC/phone memory)
3.Keypads look great in the dark. Unique design allows selecting of radio/stop/pause forward easier than all other phones (Try it to believe it)
4.Symbian rocks.. Lotsa 3rd party s/w for cam/games (3d rocks)/applications etc
5.Design is more sleek and stylist compared to the bulky looking 6600
6. Lightest Symbian S60 phone in the world
7. Smallest/lightest/most powerful multimedia Symbian phone in the world
8. Cam quality is top of the range (VGA comparsion)
9.Multitasking (Many phones do not allow u to) eg. Mp3 listening while sending sms etc)
10. Hot Swappable MMC card (Ooo.. Only Q gage offers it now :b)
11. Realone player/3rd party applications to watch movies/record
12. Louspeaker is not bad
13.Convienent Sync of data via data cable/bluetooth/Infra
14. FW upgrade @ ur home.. No need to head down to svc centre

I have already installed version 12 in my sx1.I think that a lot of its problems have been solved.It has a good price now.I'm very satisfied!(geia sou johns the greek!geia kai se sena kosta!A re ellada....)

U sure there is Firmware 13?cuz i go Siemens Webbie only have 12.

there is no Themes for SX1.They only have Profiles .

it runs better on firmware 13, no more auto restart and the phone run more faster than before.....
any one know how to put themes in SX1 just like the nokia 6600??

Well today i sent my sx1 to SIEMENS TO FIX IT.mY MEMORY WAS FULL and the menu cracked off!!!Bugs!!!I tried to install the update and nothing.I deleted everything and menu still doesn't work.
So i sent it.These smartphones need memory cards!!!!

The MP3 player is fine, but the Radio can be a little weak. I got rid of mine after numerous lockups and crashes. Several times when answering a call mine would reboot. I bought the phone with FW06 and upgraded to FW07, FW08 and then finally FW10. Each upgrade would fix problems from the previous FW, but would cause new ones. The final straw with FW10 was that when I turned the phone off and then back on, the Date and Time wouldn't be correct. Kind of hard to use the phone as an Alarm Clock when it's turned off. It's a pity, I really wanted and liked the look of this phone. But given the problems it had to go. I think Siemens released this phone just to release it. Remember, it was delayed by almost a year when it came out. Perhaps I just got a bad phone, but given the amount of money I paid for it the problems shouldn't have been as many. Just my 2 Cents.
